The room had old furniture ,old bedding & old carpet. It smelled! It seems to be from when people smoked in the rooms and the rugs and furniture were not replaced. The microwave oven was broken. I never was able to get on the internet. The side entrance that I was told to use by the owner did not work...

There was so much dirt and things on the floor you could not take your shoes off. From popcorn to stones sunflower seeds and other pieces of "stuff". The breakfast consisted of two types of dry cereal, coffee and a dribble of milk. The staff was very friendly and polite. It's not the quality to be able to charge $132...

When we checked in to this motel we could only see a small reception centre building standing all alone in a great big car park. I had booked this without seeing and had at least thought the rooms would be attached to reception. We were sent to our room around the back of a body of shops including an Asian...

Now called the Portland Inn...The place is a straight dump, run down. No one at the front desk at check-in, problems with the credit card machine. Room's smelled, holes in the blankets. Breakfast what a total joke. Everything was stale, no coffee. Thank the lord it was only one night.

My husband and I agreed that we got a great deal booking directly with this hotel. The staff was friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The outside appearance of the hotel was good. The place was clean and the beds comfortable (other than the pillows). The place appeared to have been recently renovated. The breakfast was sparse but adequate for the price....

Made our reservations in advance and was promised a non smoking room. When we got to our room, it smelled awful, it was a smoking room! So back down to the desk I go to ask for another room, well they were full so it was the smoking room or no room at all! I talked to the manager who...

I have stayed at this property because of business on numerous ocassions over the past five or six years. Each visit I find that the motel is becoming more and more run down. Rooms are not in the best of shape, towels and wash cloths are really looking old, the carpets are dirty, etc. Unfortunately, this is currently the nicest...

We stayed 2 nights at the Super 8 Motel in Portland, IN in 2 different rooms, and I have to say, that overall, we were pleased, especially for the price. The rooms were clean and had recently been remodeled. There were a few snags in the carpet and some tape seams that were popping, but overall, we felt that the...

Stayed one night on a trip on personal buisness. It is a nice 3-star, nothing fancy, but clean & more than adequate. Had a king room for $63 w/ AAA discount + tax. Continental breakfast was just that - only thing hot were self-serve waffles and toast. View from rooms is nothing great, in fact can see a mobile home...
