Beautiful lodge with a northwest woods feel to enjoy an outstanding breakfast. Front desk superb, helpful in every respect. Rave reviews for the rooms. Location close to interstates yet set in an almost woodsy area. Highly recommend.

Great, price, ammenities, location and room! Front desk helpfull. Breakfast good. Free drink ticket. Clean with pitchy North woofs decor. Great for kids or business. Nice pool and work out room. I have nothing more to ad.

This lodge is beautiful. We felt we were in a huge log cabin. We swam in the pool, played board games in the lobby, and even walked across the street to get pie. It was close to restaurants and the highway. The breakfast was delicious and included many options. The only interesting situation we had was that we asked for... More

This was a stop over for us. The room was very large with plenty of room for all 5 of us to stretch out from a long day of riding. The room was clean, although the decor was a little strange. breakfast was good. I had only one reason to rate at 4 stars. The front desk staff was unfriendly... More

Driving home from a vacation. This was a stopover for us. We originally booked a night at the Super 8 across the street but when we got to Super 8 there were no rooms available. Went to Wildwood Lodge and we were immediately impressed with it! Price was cheaper than Super 8. Friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent and rooms and... More

We needed an overnight room for a cross-country trip. This hotel came up on a Trip Advisor best value and it certainly was. A bit overdone on the lodge theme decor in the rooms for my taste. Clean spacious rooms, friendly staff, very generous breakfast buffet. We didn't stay long enough to use most of the amenities. Our room overlooked... More

Stayed many places in Des Moines and really found I enjoyed this place! It has a unique vibe that makes it more fun than many other budget hotels in the area. It offers all the same amenities (pool, spa, fitness center, free breakfast, lots of TV options, mini-fridge upon request) but our room had a unique "lodge" look that made... More

I did NOT fit the profile of the likely guest here: someone with pre-teen kids. The place is geared toward families with kids, and even though there were hordes of them everywhere and I do mean everywhere, once the door to the room is shut silence was mine! The rooms were large as was the bathroom with large refrigerator.

Liked the hotel. Had only one displeasure. An employee was on the phone when we went to the front desk to get bandaid for my daughter. It sounded like a personal call and he didn't get off the phone until we were there for about 3 min. The breakfast was good. What was supposed to be hot, was. Another thing,... More
