Bed is hard, worst hotel bed Ive ever slept on. Parking is far away. Room is dingy. Fire alarm shrieked randomly at 5am for no reason so I only had to sleep on the awful bed for 5 hours at least. This was complained of 13 years ago on here. Guess it never got fixed. Never been so startled in my life. Never again at any price. Can't wait to handle my work stuff feeling like garbage because a hotel couldn't do its only true job, letting me sleep.

Put 100.00 in a machine didn’t get credit, was told they would audit the machine and I could return and see if I get credit. Returned but never got anyone to acknowledge that it happened. So either the machine or an attendant took my money. I expect to lose at a casino but not this way.

Staff was really friendly, food was quite good, casino had many & varied games. Overall property was nice. Room was similar to any hotel, no issues. Very near many tourist sites such as the amazing zoo & aquarium. Recommend it highly for place to stay and casino visit as well.

They don't have all games open. The few that was open we full or partially full. They could pull a dealer from a partially filled table combine tables and open a different type of game like Mississippi Stud

My mom & I had a good time. I like that they are senior citizen friendly. The sports bar could be more senior citizen friendly. Had to pick up the walkers to the stairs(3) to get to the table. otherwise everything was good.

very disappointed in quality of room & in fact whole casino. Only place to eat was lowest level of casino - hot dog. Not near as many people gambling as last time we were there. When Omaha opens up Ameristar may as well close the doors. Husband and myself decided we won't be staying there anymore.

there are lots of jackpot paid at Ameristar Council Bluffs. Smoking causes me to Cough and eyes to water the ventilation system is poor. There are many machines broken or in need of repair. Must be a great place to play as this casino is always packed with guests.
