We had a difficult time finding this place and ran into some road construction doing so. We had no idea it was connected to the casino. The rates were reasonable then and it was where we needed to be. It was a one-night stay. We chose to eat off the premises for dinner and the hotel served a decent breakfast. Luggage racks were in short supply and since the guest ahead of us parked her large dog-crate on the usable one, we carried all our luggage inside. The hotel is pet friendly, has non-smoking rooms, an indoor pool, and fitness and business centers. Parking is in a large free lot, because it's used for the hotel and casino. Our room was right next to the Lobby, but we didn't have noise issues.

Hotel's Favourite
After working in a hot building for hours we wanted to rest and feel cool and relaxed. This hotel was the place for us! Greeted by a pitcher of ice water in the lobby and cookies, we then found our room facing the river and trees. The room was spotless and fresh-looking with many useful design features, i.e. a pull-out shelf by the bed for re-charging phones. The air-conditioning unit was located near the foot of the bed so cool air did not blow over my head all night. Breakfast included egg/cheese omelettes, oatmeal, biscuits & gravy, fresh fruit and more and was open until 10 a.m., unlike some other places that close at 9 a.m. I would stay again. One oddity - when I called early in the day to reserve, the price given was way above my budget. Later the same day I saw a lower price on their own website. While it’s not the hotels fault people talked and partied extremely loud the thin walls and the fact that you can hear everything that goes on in the hall is. Loudest hotel I have ever stayed in for sure. It was extremely disappointing as the hotel was nice and clean. It being attached by walkway to the Ameristar was convenient also although it’s a trek and a little confusing. I tried to call the front desk at 2:30 am but they didn’t answer so I went down to the front desk and the lobby was totally full of people yelling at the front desk worker because he was trying to get them to quiet down. There was some 60 teams of college wrestlers staying at the hotel and a lot of them were in the lobby having a party. The guy at the front desk was overwhelmed and I told him to call the police but he said it would take two hours for them to come. I really felt his safety was in jeopardy. I felt unsafe. The hallway on our floor had a lot of people in it talking really loud and constantly going in and out of rooms. I am writing this at 3 am. I just heard another guest screaming at them to be quiet. So while comfortable bed impossible to sleep in. Oh did I mention I wear hearing aids and with them out this place is still way too noisy. So again great room but unfortunately I picked the wrong night to stay here.…

Woefully understaffed. Bathrooms locked when you first enter room. Fitted sheets that don’t fit. Paper-thin walls. Door locks that don’t work with mobile app keys. I really regret booking a night here and wish I could take it back.

This hotel was comfortable . Yet the bathrooms filtration was horrible, almost not existent. One thing that is happening in some of the Hampton Inns, and it did happen on this one is the amount of dogs taking over the place. As we were coming out of breakfast area, two German Sheppards were walking out, plus another person with a Great Dane, plus another person with two small dogs that had pooped all over the floor in the the lobby. Pretty discusting and totally not acceptable. I am hoping that these companies get a hold of this non-sense and figure out who do they prefer to accommodate, clean customers or pets leaving filth all over where people have to walk. It's not ok. I am looking into other ways of lodging with the few hotels that DO NOT accept pets.

We stayed here while my daughter played soccer in NE and enjoyed this location very much. Hotel is beautiful & clean and the beds were very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was nice. Everything was great!

We enjoyed 3 days at the Hampton Inn Council Bluffs. Started off right with coffee and a cookie available when we checked in. Then Jessica at the front desk helped us find a good pizza place nearby, and she also told us about the shuttle service available to anywhere within 5 miles of the hotel. That was fabulous! We were driven in a nice new van back and forth to the zoo and to Old Town Market. Breakfast had a lot of variety, plenty to eat and menu changed everyday. We enjoyed spending time sitting at the chairs and table outside right by the MIssouri river. Our daughter recommended this hotel to us, and we are so glad. We will be back.

I had reserved this hotel for 4 nights for a business trip. I couldn't get out of here fast enough. I think it's the current residence for all of the construction workers who are working on the freeway. LOUD... rundown. My first indication of this was the full size IRISH SPRING bar in the bathroom. Not any regular, milder soap for me as a female. The bed was hard as a brick. Floor would've probably been more comfortable. Ill fitting bottom sheet kept coming off all night long. I decided to cancel the rest of my stay around 9pm. I called the front desk 4 TIMES. Called Hilton, they tried the front desk. Finally I got dressed and went down. Was spoken to rudely, the girl must really hate her job. IDK if I felt safe or not. Just seemed like a tacky place. Very run down, not comfortable. Worst nights sleep I've had in quite some time. As a solo female business traveler, I would NOT recommend this place. Wait - one redeeming factor... the view of the river was nice.…

Nice clean room with view of the river and sunsets! The staff was friendly and the free shuttle van service that dropped us off at the Bob Kerrey pedestrian bridge and picked us up after a nice meal in downtown Omaha was a big plus! There is also a walking/biking trail next to the complex, good for an evening stroll before dinner. We stayed in 3 Hampton Inns during this trip and this one was definitely the best.
