Booking.com found this room on a Friday night at a decent price according to what other hotels were charging. Hotel is located in an area surrounded by car deals and warehouses. Right off of interstate. it is clean and up to date. Reason for average rating is it is a 3 storied hotel but NO elevator. Yes- I ended on the third floor- luggage up three stairways. Room was clean- bed was fine. There was a table with two chairs in the corner but no light on table or wall. So, it was rather dark. Bathroom was very small- had to open door -get in and close door because toilet was right there- needless to say very little room. Nothing to hang clothes on. Sink was not in bathroom but when you first walked in room.

My husband and I booked 3 nights at this hotel. The hotel was conveniently located off I80, clean and had a friendly front desk person. The room itself was adequate, but towels only for one person, one bar of soap and minimal other items. We had to run down a maid or front desk person each day for these items. Hotel was noisy both with people talking and flushing of toilets and showers from other rooms. The breakfast that was included was basically excessively minimal. No attendant to speak to and if you arrived at 8:30 am there was almost nothing left to eat. All fruit and eggs were gone and since we were over a weekend, Saturday’s food was exactly what was left from from Friday. Nothing had been added. On Sunday at 8 am there was no food left but green bananas so we had to go to a restaurant (breakfast hours are 6-9 am). Maybe good for a quick overnight, but I would not recommend this hotel.

Staff were friendly and courteous. We stayed in a very rare 3 bed room which worked out well for my buddies and I. It was a little noisy being so close to the highway plus there was a gas station right next door. Breakfast was a sub par goody bag so we went to the gas station for coffee and breakfast of the gods - sausage and egg pizza.

Checking in late after several hours on the road. Very polite and helpful staff. Interior appears to be recently renovated and appears outside landscape is getting a redo. Breakfast includes make your own waffles, fresh HOT coffee and numerous other items. Wi-fi is fast and connection is excellent. Clean and working I I’ve-maker plus vending on site if you don’t want to walk to Casey’s or the TA next door. Nice canopy to pull u set and load/unload during inclement weather.

After a 24 hour day on the road from NC to SD, we were very late in finding a room. Brandy, at the front desk, went above and beyond to make a reservation for us at 2:45 am for a 3:30 am check in. She greeted us graciously, checked us in quickly, gave is a late checkout without us asking) and even found me a toothbrush. I travel often and have stayed in some extremely nice hotels. However, I have never felt more welcome or been treated any better than I was last night ANYWHERE. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the checkout was just as easy and graciously done as the check in. The management has some jewels for employees and are to be commended for keeping their establishment very clean. I would stay again anytime.

To start with I confused where I stayed last yr County Inn and Suites with Countryside Inn and Suites (1 exit away) so I booked by mistake but stay was fine. Quiet stayed on second fl and it was a friday night. Rooms had fridge and microwave Breakfast was decent cold inc hardboiled eggs, 3 kinds of fruit 2 kinds of cereal, bagels, I was surprised when I went to breakfast to smell cigarette smoke. The first fl has a number of smoking rooms and that hallway reeked of smoke. I was able to plug in my Cpap machine bed without unplugging anything

On a road trip with friends, made reservations requesting rooms close if possible. Arrived to walk into a lobby reeking of smoke. No smoking signs present, No rooms on floor of check in, must go up or down stairs to rooms. Room on lower level smelled terrible, smokey and bad. Asked for different room, were moved upstairs where room was slightly better. Chairs old & worn. 7:30, awoke to hear knocking on doors, calling "Housekeeping". 7:30am??? Lady said she was doing double duty, front desk and housekeeping. Once you go to a non-smoking hotel, it takes more than a sign, carpets and furniture must be professionally cleaned or replaced! Never again.

We were having a girls weekend. Yes, this motel is currently being renovated. However, the rooms weren't bad. We had 2 rooms, 1 smoking and 1 non smoking (we asked for 2 smoking upon check in, however only 1 was available. ) Upon initially entering the smoking room, yes, you could tell it was a smoking room. But after we opened the window and got the AC going, you couldn't really tell. Check in was very quick and easy (I checked in for both rooms). We asked about a shuttle to casinos we had heard about, however, the shuttles don't go here. We were given a card for a cab service, which we used. All in all, this was a pretty decent stay. Downside: this is a split level motel with no elevator and does not have a pool. I have an issued with stairs, but once downstairs there is an exit to the parking lot with a ramp. Which also came in handy brining in luggage and such as there are no bell carts.

I did not see any of the complains I read about on some of the reviews on Trip Advisor. I found this to be a very good hotel at a price under $100. when other hotels in the area were well above $100. Before going, I usually read reviews on Trip Advisor. But I think there are always some people (trolls?) who want to gripe about something. Since they paid nearly $100., they expect everything to be flawless and every employee eager to fawn over them. I don't doubt that some bad things can occur, but their broad brush criticisms just don't fit here.

Not many people staying in the motel just off Exit 3. Room was downstairs and we could have parked next to the room if we had wanted to, although it was in the back parking lot. The two beds were double in size and comfortable. The toilet and shower/tub were in a separate room. Sink and mirror just inside the exit door. There was a refrigerator and microwave, no in-room safe. The desk and chair were located next to the exterior window with no desk lamp or overhead light. I moved the desk closer to the sink where there was an overhead light. I unplugged the microwave and refrigerator so I could plug in my computer and phone. Shower head mounted less than six feet high, which could be problem for taller persons. Bath towels were rather thin. Noted dead crickets on the floor in the bathroom and by the entry door in the morning (more than a dozen). Man on front desk said we should have not been given the room next to the exterior door as that is where the crickets enter the building. Breakfast offering was minimal. Facilities were adequate for the economical price of the room. Many restaurants were located within a half mile of the motel.
