I did not organise the stay so cannot comment on the staff / owners but it is a great venue for a group of friends. My stay was for a friends birthday weekend so there was a mix of friends and family. The rooms are a little dated but nothing to complain about. Room lighting was also a little dark.... More

We have stayed here numerous times and found it to be very pleasant and the peacefulness is most welcoming. The lack of a TV in the room is fantastic as the last thing we wanted to do was to sit and watch the box all day and night. Plenty of places to see around this area and an easy drive... More

Bit disappointed — because when I saw their website and photo gallery I thought of it as a fancy guest house and went there with somewhat high expectations. As mentioned in their website, I would recommend this place only if you're a group of some sort where you know everyone else and you're perfectly happy to share the showers and... More

We stayed here doing a weekend tour of the Hunter Valley, The room was nice, but did not have a TV (didn't really care) or an en-suite bathroom, they did have a common room that was comfortable where we chilled with our pizza and recent purchase of wine! The Owners were very helpful and arranged a wine tour for us... More

Heritage listed and historically significant, it boasts magnificent features of yesteryear including high ornate ceilings, beautiful leadlight windows and 2 return verandahs overlooking the gardens. Beautifully maintained and presented, the guesthouse comprises grand foyer with sweeping staircase, large lounge with wood fire, dining/conference room, kitchen, 2 bathrooms with showers and WCs, disabled bathroom plus 2 further WCs. 13 of the guest rooms open onto the verandahs and one is available for disabled guests.
