A friend and I got a room for one night as we were in town for a concert. Check in/out was a quick and easy process. We were informed that the bar/grill was open until 2 am (food served until Midnight) and they were having live music as well. That was a cool surprise, but unfortunately we didn't get a chance to partake since we already had plans for the evening. I wouldn't say our room was "dirty", but definitely aged/outdated enough to make you a little leary. The toilet/shower area (room) seemed clean, but again very "used" looking. We didn't use the shower or take advantage of the continental breakfast so can't comment on that. One thing that was a bit of an inconvenience was the limited access to the upper level rooms. There are only a couple staircases to get to the upper deck rooms. We parked our car close to our room so we could keep an eye on it, but then we had to walk a ways down the building (lugging all of our bags/cooler) to the nearest staircase, then back the way we had come from once we reached the upper level. Definitely wasn't a deal breaker, but an inconvenience, especially since it was COLD outside and all access is outdoors. It was definitely a decent place to stay, especially for the price. FILTHY. Toilet was dirty and plugged up upon arrival. They did nothing to fix it and couldn't put us in a different room. The TV remote didn't work. We booked a room with 2 queen beds. The beds weren't queen they were full sized and not very comfortable

The maintenance of the room was shabby. People at desk and the bar were very good. Plow truck idling for 2 hours in early AM was awful. Get a new battery and new muffler. Location fit my needs. No common outside area. Nothing special herem but I was not expecting much.

Very dated hotel. Unpleasant odor in the room that permitted clothes. Double beds not queens in small room and uncomfortably small bathroom. Very limited breakfast offerings. Cereal, yogurt, prepackaged muffins. The address is impossible for GPS to get to.

The hotel was dated which was fine we were only there to sleep. But the dirty wash rag next to the toilet told me the room wasn't cleaned very well, there was an odor and I believe that was from the carpet being so old but I'm back to the nasty wet dirty wash rag that was left in the bathroom. I didn't go to the desk because it was busy and I wasn't going to ask for a different room because we had connected rooms with our friends. I'm just giving a review on cleanliness, wasn't looking for a free room or a discount.

I wouldn't stay here if I were you. It's pretty sketchy. Dirty. Sorta stinky. The bed is like a king size fitted sheet filled with cotton balls. No support whatsoever. Looks like it was built in about 1970 and sort of cleaned most of the time since. It's at the end of a dead end street. The water pressure in the shower was phenomenal! Otherwise it was a dump.

The staff was not friendly. They obviously were not happy with patrons with pets, even though this is the one reason I booked there. Traveling with my dog as we had an event in Dubuque. The room was outdated and dingy. Not very clean. Cracked sink. I did not have room service come in since I had my dog and asked the cleaning attendants for new trash bags and they seemed bothered by me asking. Breakfast was nothing more than pre-packaged muffins/granola bars. Coffee was not good at all. Noisy people coming and going.

Stayed here for two nights with my family. I'd a never picked this place had I been in charge of the hotel rental,but I wasn't. Place is outdated and desperately needs an update. I will say our room was clean, but the sitting chairs should have been taken to the dump sometime ago. Bathtub didnt drain properly and backed up, coffee pot was disgusting. Three people in one room, given Two towels and One tiny bottle of shampoo. And we're pretty sure by the all hours of the night banging doors, and the number of different men going in and out of the room next to us that the gal there was doing a little side business with the place. Seemed to be a hotel for people who are working in the area and just need place to crash. Wouldn't recommend.

Very disappointed. Coffee maker broken, no place for your luggage other than the floor. Would have been nice if they had informed us if you stay more than one night they do not clean room on the weekends. Manager very unfriendly had care less attitude. Would never stay again.
