We have just arrived home after a fabulous stay here. Nick has this site so well thought out & the views are amazing. We stayed in the Woodland Hut with our 2 westies & fell in love straight away & thus booked again for next year for our anniversary. Keen walkers the site was spot on for so many great walks including the farm walk. The local pub Red Lion served home cooked food which was delicious & the westies were very welcome. The pod & hot tub were amazing so well thought out, clean & fun to stay in …right little gem of a place ….well done e & thank you Nick …..Deb,Rich and our westies xx

Me and my husband recently came for our honeymoon. We was meant to go to Mexico but COVID had other plans so we decided to have a relaxing getaway. We stayed in the Owl Pod and absolutely loved it! We took our pug who also loved it. The pod was perfectly clean. We had gifts set out on the table for us (sent by my mum) which Nick had kindly let my mum send to him. We took our dog on the farm walk and it was a lovely walk, probably around an hour! We also went to the Red Lion one day for our dinner which was really nice. We loved the hot tub and used it every night, Nick emptied it and put clean water in for us on one of the days and topped us up with logs for when we needed them. We loved our stay and didn’t want to go home! We definitely want to come back in the future for more relaxing getaways with the dog 😁

This site has to be one of my favourites. It ticks all my boxes. Nick has done a great job designing a site to his wish list as an ex Motorhomer/Caravanner and his list must match mine. Pitches are huge and very well spaced out and all have lovely views. They are also fully serviced. The site is immaculately maintained. There are two walks to nearby pubs and he has taken the time to cut large path routes in the grass so its easy to walk to them. It is very peaceful and all guests seem to enjoy the quiet with no loud parties Etc. Adults only as well. There are two showers and two toilets which isnt alot but as we are happy to use our Motorhome it has no impact on us. Its very good value at £20 weekdays and £25 Friday and Saturdays. There is free WiFi too. Some other sites could do well to take a look at this site to see how its done. We will definitely be back. 100% recommend. Just on another note and not related to this site I would not recommend the Black Swan Pub. The food there was awful and expensive. The Red Lion we didnt eat in but the owner could do with some customer service lessons. Not even an acknowledgement or even a grunt when we had a drink there!!

This site ticked every single box for us which has never happened before, an absolute gem of a place in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. Very large well manicured fully serviced pitches, fantastic views from every pitch, 2 lovely walks to 2 great country pubs, 1 just 5 minutes away the other around 10 minutes, both easy pleasant walks thanks to the obvious efforts of the site owner. Excellent TV and wi-fi signals. Dog friendly & adult only. Toilet & showers are very clean and tidy. We had just 3 nights here, wish it had been more, we loved it, the dogs loved it! Full credit to the site owner Nick for providing the perfect site. Look forward to being back very soon.

We had a short stay in the wonderful Alpaca pod at Welltrough Farm. The pod has everything you need and was so clean. The hot tub was lovely and the views are amazing. We enjoyed one of the well marked farm walks one evening which was lovely and we went to see the alpacas and goats located on site. Quick and simple to book and all of the information was emailed so I didn't even have to bother anyone as it was all perfect. I have already been telling everyone about it and if we are ever in that region again I would jump at the chance to return.
