We visited the bell inn on a golf break and must say the golf course is fantastic loved it . The hotel is nice in a great location the majority of the staff are good polite and helpful . Now the negativity do not do the evening meal we waited over 75 mins. In that time we got our starter...

We spent 3 nights in the October half term with our two children and dog. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Great food in the evening and breakfasts. Great location. Very dog friendly. Will definitely stay there again.

Stayed as part of a weekend of celebration for my Husbands 50th. Check in was fine and room was lovely. Nice extras like biscuits, jelly beans and water. Bathrobes and large towels also provided. So often the towels are teeny and not luxurious at all. Large bathroom with walk in shower and separate bath, immaculately clean. Dinner was booked via...

My boyfriend and I spent a lovely couple of nights here. The hotel is cosy, the staff were helpful and the food was delicious. The service was slow on Saturday but that didn't bother us. The location is beautiful, especially for walking and golfing and I loved the roaming animals.

Please avoid this hotel. Their general service is awful especially breakfast. The chef can't cope with more than couple of guests in their restaurant. They constantly ran out of food at the buffet....

A lovely break in the New Forest again. Excellent value and all the staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was a front room on the road but we found it very quiet and lovely to look out of the window to see ponies and a free range cow charging up the road holding up the traffic. The service for...

Stopped here for a light lunch & was very pleased with the food & service. My wife & I choose from the starter menu. I had grilled wild mushrooms with egg yolk on toasted bread. My wife choose the ham hock terrine with tomato marmalade. A very pleasant lunch @ £20.00 including drinks. The Bell is a very comfortable &...

Just popped in for lunch . Nice location , good looking building , good car parking . That's 3 out of 5 . Zero for service , zero for food , zero for atmosphere . Bread with your meal costs extra and arrived with the main course and although apparently freshly baked - stone cold . Main course obviously struggled...

We stayed here for 2 nights last week, the room was nice, but we found the staff totally unhelpful, except for one Polish receptionist who tried to help us with walking in the area. The English Staff, especially Vivien, were not interested. When we booked by phone, Vivien said she would send us confirmation, it did not arrive and we...

Dear janet b, Thank you so much for taking the time to review your recent stay at The Bell Inn. As we're all very passionate about our Inn and the service and food we offer, it's always disappointing to receive feedback like this. Perfect business lunch for three. Quiet, relaxed surroundings and excellent service. The menu offered a wide range of Local produce which was well presented and very tasty. Within the National Park, so some lovely walks nearby to walk off the ample portions!
