I wasn't sure what to expect from a bed & breakfast, but I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was comfortable and inviting. We chose the time for our breakfast and was awaken by the aroma of bacon and coffee , Mmmm Mmmm Good! LeClaire is a beautiful little town. You should stop by this bed & breakfast if ever in...

We were excited to stay here based on the reviews from Trip Advisor, however we were forced to leave without walking through the front door. We arrived later in the evening, (around 8:30 p.m.) as we had arranged over the phone and were "greeted" by a large fluffy barking dog running toward us chained up in the yard, which frightened...

My wife & I were on the last leg of our journey home from a vacation out west. I had mapped out our way home & we decided to stop in Le Claire Iowa, as we wanted to stop at Antique Archaeology. I happened to come across the Latimer B & B. I'm so glad I did. What a warm,...

The B&B is a very comfortable place to spend a night in Le Claire. It is conveniently located in the midst of the all the key attractions, is just a block off the beautiful main street, is two blocks from the mighty Mississippi and a short distance away from the key attractions in the Quad Cities. Mercedes the dog is...

At the last minute we decided to spend the night in Le Claire and read about Latimer's B&B on Trip Advisor. The owner is a sweet lady who tried very hard to be accommodating (breakfast is at a time we picked) and ran a lovely clean B&B within a block of all the fun shops and restaurants in Le Claire....

From being allowed to put my motorcycle in the garage to her warmth and charm, Ethel, the owner, was a delight. Just a block off the main street w restaurants and breweries, this is a perfect place to stay, even apart from the fact that it is less expensive than the anonymous chain motels inconveniently located on the outskirts. Breakfast...

I stayed one night and felt right at home. My favorite thing was sitting out on the large front porch and taking in the spectacular view of the Mississippi. It's a one block walk to the main street with all of the shops and restaurants. Darlene is an absolutely delightful host and she made a delicious breakfast. I highly recommend...

On our way to visit friends, we stopped for the night at a point midway between Chicago & Des Moines: LeClaire, a historic Mississippi river town.. Wanting to make the weekend a bit more culturally authentic, we chose to stay at Latimer's rather than the Holiday Inn Express. What a great choice! It was very comfortable and extremely tidy and...
