Great refurbished motel now owned locally. Clean, quiet, and great value. The breakfast coffee is great but limited continental breakfast. For more, McDonalds is across attached parking lot. Bigger country breakfasts and other good meals at local favorite Flapjacks across the street. No pool or workout room, but good stay.

We were pleasantly surprised to find the only real hotel in town was exceptionally clean and nice. No pool. Was a Super 8. Front desk people were nice. McDonalds a few steps away. Chinese restaurant a few steps away. Family dining across the street. Grocery and hardware store walking distance. Parked up a hill, bringing us in the the second...

Very nice clean friendly staff hotel The rooms are always very clean and comfortable and some have a really nice and comfy reclining chair in them which was very nice to relax at the end of our day. Fairly close to Dubuque which is nice also. Only thing I do not like about the hotel is the no guns sign...

My family stayed here when our cabin rental turned out to be unacceptable. We arrived 1:30-2AM after needing alternative lodging and got a really decent rate for the night. Room was clean, nothing special, but was glad to get some sleep. Breakfast (Included with the room) was nothing special at all, went to Mcdonalds instead.

We had a nice room - very clean - newer (flat screen) tv set. Good number of tv channels. It looks like they have been doing some upgrading of rooms since we visited last. The beds looked strange as they seemed lower to the floor than normal. However, they were comfortable. The pillows weren't really that comfortable. Breakfast - I...

We stayed there for 3 nights. The rooms were clean, but average. The only truly negative aspect was the breakfast options provided. They could definitely take a lesson from other lodging options. Options consisted of stale mini muffins and cold cereal. The coffee was very bad. We went tot he McDonalds next door each morning. They use to offer coupons...

I've stayed before and been happy, however... check in and out was fine. But the minute I walked into our room I noticed the musty/moldy smell, yuk. We should have asked to move, but I was tired and we would have had to walk all the way back to the desk. Tried putting an open bar of soap on the...
