Excellent stay. Innkeepers made us feel welcome with afternoon tea. It was hard to find but worth the trip and the near miss accident with a crazy lorry driver on a one lane road. Beautiful views, nicely appointed rooms. Enjoyed breakfast

+ beautiful property + friendly warm welcome + well equipped and spacious room + excellent breakfast + warm and cosy - Oban is 12 miles away, taking a cab isn't ideal for this distance - will be expensive. An excellent place to stay, highly recommended.

A fabulous place to stay with super views. The breakfast is wonderful, the bed super comfy, there are lovely toiletries too. The hosts are super and in all honesty I can't recommend this highly enough.

We have just returned from the most incredible two night break at Blarcreen House and can't rate it highly enough. I have never visited Scotland before and my husband has only been once as a child so we wanted to find somewhere off the beaten track to explore together yet accessible to everything within a reasonable drive so Blarcreen House... If only we had planned a few nights here instead of one... a really outstanding stay at a delightful house that is more of a warm and charming mini-luxury-hotel-just-for-you than BnB in feel. It's a short drive from Oban, and the location is blissfully peaceful. All you can hear at night is the nearby burn bubbling away quietly through the... More

We stayed for 3 nights in September and wish we could have stayed longer. Very large rooms with en-suites in a traditional style. Fantastic breakfast cooked to order. The property is surrounded by farmers fields and it was wonderful to sit and watch the cows and sheep grazing not many feet from the room. Word of caution! The GPS only... More

Blarcreen House is a gem tucked away in a beautiful coastal setting. There are sheep and rolling green hills and gorgeous on-the-water sunsets. It was all just so incredibly lovely. The room was clean and the bathroom was beautifully modern with a fantastic bathtub. I loved how all the rooms had local organic shampoo/soaps - they smelled so good and... More

We stayed while attending our friends birthday party nearby. The B&B is small but beautiful. The rooms are pretty and the views amazing, overlooking fields of sheep and cows, little lambs playing and rolling hills. Breakfast was excellent and the owners are so friendly and go the extra mile to take good care of you. All of the 'little things' were... More

We stayed here for two nights last weekend and were delighted we had managed to get a booking here as there are only 4 or so rooms. We had a lovely four-poster with double-aspect views over the shores of Loch Linney and fields of sheep and cows. The welcome was very warm with a pot of tea and delicious homemade... More
