Hotel Oasis was exactly what I was looking for: laid back, clean, no frills. I was traveling solo and I don't speak French but Loane, their concierge, has been so helpful weeks before my trip and beyond my stay. The place is charming. It is so close to the beach, to the ferry dock, to the car/scooter rental place, the grocery store, and to Lagranlag, a very good restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel.

A simple yet cosy hotel very close to the port of La Desirade, and for a good price too. We stayed at one of the studio apartments that came with a small kitchen also. Extra credits for the very friendly receptionist, her English speaking was very helpful.
