The Stuart House was our family's first experience at staying at a B&B and we are SO GLAD we did !! I guess many hotels and B & B's, etc. are rated according to ammenities more than anything else but, more important than all that for our family was the comfortable, cozy and immaculate accomodations and the attention to details...

We have recently spent 2 nights sampling Shelly & Brian's hospitality. The bedrooms ate spotless & very comfortable. The home cooking is amazing. Set un a quiet, country location, close to the beach, I would thoroughly recommend this home from home. We will definatley be back!

The Stuart House is a friendly and personable B and B close to the Northumberland Strait shores of Nova Scotia. Although I was initially confused by the Amhert address, which appears to be the name of a town closer to the Welcome Center between New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, I was quite pleased with the beautiful and peaceful less-traveled locale...

We stayed for a night in August 2011 after booking through a Nova Scotia tourist centre. When we arrived at Stuart House, we were welcomed more like family than guests. Shelly and Brian were terrific hosts who took great care to make sure we have a pleasant stay. They were very friendly and frank in conversations and were proud to...

A home away from home. We felt welcomed immediately and greeted as long-time friends. I can't say enough about their hospitality! Shelly's breakfast was awesome. She and Brian joined us for breakfast and joined us for our evening snacks. Brian has a wonderful sense of humor!

We had an excellent stay. The hosts were very friendly and most accommodating. The home is lovingly decorated. Our room was very nice, quiet, clean and comfortable. The hosts served evening tea in a comfortable lounge with the other guests making it a very enjoyable visit. Breakfast was marvellous. Although the B&B is 20 minutes beyond Amherst it's location with...

We stayed at the Stuart House B&B with 2 adults and 2 children in our party. The hosts Shelley & Brian were very warm and welcoming. They had our room ready and comfortably set up and offered to move things around to make it even more comfortable for our little ones. Their recommendations and directions to local eateries were spot-on....

EXCELLENT B & B with wonderful hosts! We were looking for a "base camp" as we explored New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island and we could NOT have designed a better location and setting. While staying at The Stuart House we visited Fundy National Park, Hopewell Cape, Moncton, Cape Jourimain in New Brunswick; New London, Cavendish, North Rustico,...

Great place to stay on our way back from Cap Breton to Montreal. By the NB coast in a wonderfull house hosted by Shelly and Brian, two very nice people eager to meeting and welcoming their guests. Breakfast is very good with homemade blueberry muffins and more...a taste of NS warmth and spirit. will be back for sure.

Lovely house set within sprawling lawns and flower beds. Our room was very comfortable - in fact it was the most comfy bed of the whole of our two week stay in Atlantic Canada. The hosts were fantastic! Hot drinks and biscuits when we arrived, awesome breakfast. Guided us well in getting to the nearest restaurant before it closed. Very,...
