This place is a haven! Charming quaint farm house lost in the fields. Comfortable beds, all with electric blankets. Nice living room with fireplace. Kitchen with all appliances, great breakfast with fresh home made bread! We took the option of bbq at Peters and were not disappointed! Meat was amazing! Worst a visit!

Last night on the Rail Trail and all four families were at Peter's Farm - a ramshackle place with character in spades. Perfectly comfortable for big groups and Peter's BBQ is a great way to enjoy a fantastic location. Clearly Peter has the routine nailed with plenty of wholesome food to fee hungry cyclists. It can be a bit rough...

Peter has this one sorted! With the issues surrounding the Hyde Hotel, Peter provides a free car to pick up from Hyde so that guests may make use of his wonderful farm based accommodation in Waipiata. We stayed in the 1882 Tregonning Cottage which was more than comfortable and well appointed. Peter's famous barbecue and dessert lived up to the...

We stayed one night at Pete's Farm over Easter, with another couple, while biking the Rail Trail. The original, rustic Farm House has four bedrooms and there are two separate cabins, all sharing two showers and three toilets.. There were 8 of us staying overnight and no queues for the bathrooms. Our room was warm, clean and there was quality...

One year ago I stayed here and chose to come again with a group from Australia. Peter and Keiko are truly once again the perfect hosts, so likeable, so endearing, helpful, entertaining, engaging, informative, always considerate of their clients needs and always with a SMILE!!. Because the farmhouse is out on a property he collects you and delivers you back...

We were picked up by Peter in Kokonga & driven back to the Farm, a pleasant easy going chap who was great to chat with during the short journey. Upon arrival we were given a tour of the property, then offered a choice of rooms, of which my two boys selected the sleepout, which was fine. It was a hot...

Pete's farm is a heritage farmhouse set out in the country surrounded by fields of sheep. It is a bit of a cycle from town but Pete happily will pick up/drop off riders and bikes in Waipiata. The farmhouse is full of heritage memorabilia, very spacious and comfortable. Our room was cozy, complete with heated mattress pads which were much...

Peter and Keiko are amazing hosts. All very chill and fantastic BBQ. Lovely stay following our 4th ride of the Otaga bike rail trail. Although bit off the trail, worth the trip and totally recommend. Very convenient transportation provided.

Peter and Keiko are fantastic hosts. So laid back and easy going. Could not do enough for us. Try Peters famous BBQ, he is a great cook and Keikos salads are delicious. Relax and let Pete regale you with his amusing stories. The house is like staying in a living museum. Tidy, warm and historic to boot. A must stay...
