Great location on a secluded beach to the west of Ft. Dauphin. Huge rooms with all the amenities you'd want, each set in privacy, in coastal forest, right on the beach.

Ideal location that is both super picturesque, with rocks poking out of the surf and huge waves breaking in the distance, but he protected bay and estuary allow effortless long distance swimming and kayaking. The drive to get there is a bit of a slog,...More

No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. All drinks apart from wine and spirits are free of charge and can be obtained from the restaurant area whenever you want. The guest lodges are all solar powered - there was plenty of hot water and the lights were fine. There was one plug socket (continental type) to charge phones / camera etc, but you wouldn't be able to run a kettle or hairdryer off this supply.
Don't let this put you off though ... the place really is stunningly beautiful and the staff very accommodating.
We travelled in August so not sure about the temperature in November.
