Very inconvenient to see Loire Valley sights. Over 30 min from any restaurants. They do serve breakfast and dinner on request. Monsieur is much too involved in all of your conversations, esp. relating how uncivilized all Americans are with their "cowboy mentality." Yet, very accommodating when we lost car keys. I was chided by Madame for leaving windows open "because...

Most of the Loire châteaux are on the countryside in very nice surroundings, so not isolated but enjoying the beauty of the grounds. We are 4,5 kilometers away from Loudun where there are many good restaurants, you only should have asked us. We are 25 km from Chinon and Saumur, if you have been visiting châteaux ,what most people do...

Stayed at this chateau again this time for 4 nights. I really enjoyed the place for the second time. The garden still looks great and very spacious with great views. The chateau is located near great places to visit such as chemonceau and great white wine chateaus, the reason i stayed in the area. Also now there is a sauna....

Excellent! This august we were looking for a Chateau to spend a night in the way back from our stay in Brittany and the ‘Chateau de Jalnay’ was far beyond our expectations. Both the Chateau and the Gardens are fabulous and the owners, Robert and Louise, very nice. They take care of all the details and make the stay very...

What a wonderful hotel! We were welcomed by our hosts, who gave us a tour of the property and told us all about its history. Through the restoration process the owners have really preserved the charm and feel of the building, while at the same time incorporating all the facilities that you expect of a modern hotel. The rooms are...

Most business hotels i stay in are unpersonal and I always long for to get back home quickly. On the other hand they are quiet and clean. Sometimes with bed and breakfast you don't know what to expect. Glad i tried this chateau though. Perfect for business and makes the whole trip much more enjoyable. You have the warmth of...
