I'm a big fan of Springhill Suites. They get what the traveller needs.
Clean room, comfy bed, lots of space and a good, basic breakfast. What's not to like.
Oh, and friendly staff too

Thank you for sharing your concerns. I have spoken with my Maintenance staff and housekeeping to make sure that they are checking everything in the room to make sure that it is functioning properly before we check a guest into the room.
