Unless you enjoy the smell of curry, don't stay here. The rooms smell clean but the lobby and the halls have a very strong odor. I ended up canceling my stay. I just could not deal with the curry smell.

The front desk guy was very nice. The room was very comfortable and the air conditioner was on when we first entered the room, when on some of my other hotel stays at other locations they had it off. Breakfast was very good. Overall, no complaints.

Every two years, I spend a few days at the Lyons Inn while I'm in town for a family reunion. Lyons Inn is definitely dated. However, I found nothing there this time that would disqualify it from my list of suitable places to stay. An added plus this time--the Inn has changed ownership. Front desk was very rude..smell of burnt garlic Asian food..smell was throughout the 1st Floor. Gagging..!! Room looked late 70s with hard beds..and uncomfortable carpet on floors. Bathroom was a normal Hollywood style cheap hotel. Scary..wont be staying there again..will go to Celebration Center east of town on Us-56. Or stay in McPherson or Hutchinson.

Like previous reviews, I was also in Lyons for a funeral. My stay was during Independence Day, the Lyons Inn was the only place with a vacancy. I stayed for two nights and I had a room on the 2nd floor in the corner. It was very spacious and seemed to be clean (I didn't want to look too closely!)....

I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the room. As mentioned in the title, it was quite hairy. I do realize that it is not possible to clean a room so well that there is no hair, but the amount left was disappointing. There is also a serious shortage of outlets in the room. In order to charge a...

Dirty with poor customer service. New management is lousy. Call and talk to them on the phone to see for yourself. Price changes when you check in. Bathrooms have mold. Furniture is out dated. Go to celebration Inn in Lyons
