Fair. the pull out bed was not functional so we had to request a roll away bed. bedding is not kept in the room per "policy" and they don't offer it at check-in so make sure you ask if you need it. other than that the hotel is clean and staff friendly.

Thank you for staying with us. Our one bedroom studio suite where the King size bed is in one room and the living area is in the adjacent room is extremely popular with guests. Thanks

We stay here every time we have to cross the US. The most expensive hotel beds with the cheapest rates in Kansas or Missouri. This is a hidden gem. The best night of sleeping you'll have in any hotel in the US. There's some good food options if you hunt a bit, too.

Thank you for your response. Yup, Tempurpedic beds. How many hotels can say that?!!! We are glad you like them.

The beds were incredibly hard which made sleep difficult. Our visit was for a softball tournament so was really just a bed at night with breakfast included. Breakfast was not the best especially the stale cereal. The eggs and biscuits were cold. But at the end of the day it was a place to lay our heads after a busy...

Thank you for your response. Our mattresses are tempurpedic. We do have a few rooms that have spring mattress option but they require advance reservations.

Indoor pool so the kids made the most if it. The pool was pretty big. We stopped over during a soccer tournament that was taking place so lots of children everywhere. Parents really need to do a better job of parenting their kids in public places as kids were walking around without supervision....safe but you never know! The staff were...

I was booked at another hotel, but that hotel was full so they directed me to this hotel. The hotel looked nice from the outside but the adjacent closed mall looked shady so I was not sure. The inside was very welcoming. The staff were very friendly. Rooms were clean. I loved the fitness center. Probably one of the larger...

We enjoyed this hotel very much, it was our first time at a La Quinta and we were impressed. We chose this due to their dog policy they were the only one we found who allowed dogs and didn't charge extra. Some other hotels were as much as 100$ extra for 1 night! Our suite was large and very nice....

From the outside, the hotel looks sharp and updated. Somewhere you will be able to find quality rest. That is except for the Great Mall the website promotes which is closed down and looking like the movie set for the next apocalypse movie. The rooms were good with quality bedding. The quirky thing was that all the lights were controlled...

Super comfortable beds and very quiet. I came in to attend training for my job and appreciated the quiet so I could get a good night's sleep. The parking is kind of awkward, no parking to check in and then very few key doors that we could find to access from other parts of the parking lot.

We are always pleased to find a motel that will accept our dog. This property has seen some use, but was still comfortable, clean, and very accomodating. Unfortunately, the huge mall that was across the parking lot has closed, so it gives the motel a bit of a lonely feel, but that did not stop it from being very full....

Excellent location, easy access to everywhere I needed to go. Friendly staff. Rooms were nice. It had a pool, but I didn't use it, the outside is well lit up. I have stayed here before and I will stay here again!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Easy to find off I-35, we're 23 miles from Union Station in the heart of Kansas City. We regularly appear on the CNN/Money magazine list as one of the "100 Best Cities to Live". With neighboring Overland Park, this is a fast-growing area with a real sense of community. If you're here on vacation, how about a horse-driven stagecoach ride? Whatever your reason, we're glad you're here and hope you'll make this your comfortable and convenient base. Pets are welcome, too. Kansas City is 22 miles north. Here you might want to start your sightseeing in "The City of Fountains" with the American Jazz Museum, Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, or National World War I Museum. Across the street from the latter, have a look at restored Union Station with its 95-foot ceiling and 3,500-pound chandeliers. It's a vibrant destination with changing exhibitions. Alternatively, scout out your favorites among the plentiful water features around town. Some visitors come here for the 200+ fountains alone with graceful statuary and synchronized music. Don't miss Country Club Plaza, an upscale shopping district four miles south of downtown, with Spanish-influenced design. Just one mile farther, and you're in Kansas. ... more   less
