I stayed for one night in the Bourbon Loft last week. The owners were away on vacation but left a note for me to call as there was some problem running my credit card. On the call she made sure I had everything I needed, including dinner plans. The bar looked nice and it might have been nice to take... More

We stayed at the Pioneer Park Cottage. Location is good since it is within easy walking distance of town. Fourth Street in front of the cottage was a bit noisy with cars racing by at night and lots of sirens. Cottage could use a bit of maintenance as many light bulbs need replacing... We never met the owners or any... More

Serene, genteel and well appointed with period furnishings, our visit to Bourbon Country was enhanced by our stay at the Colonel's Millstone Cottage. The location could not be better. The cottage is clean and well maintained. The kitchen is stocked with oatmeal, cereal, juice, regular coffee, bourbon coffee, decaf coffee and teas. Fresh pastries arrive daily for your morning breakfast.... More

Stayed at in the loft suite. Very comfortable and homey. Also took the Bourbon University class from the Colonel and Rosemary. What a great experience. Just talking and learning about the history of bourbon and some great recipes to take home. Rosemary has an artful way of marrying bourbon with other beverages and spirits.

My husband surprised me with a stay in Bardstown. We stayed in the Bourbon Loft for 1 night and I would have much rather driven farther to stay at a major hotel chain. The loft looked cute at first glance when we arrived but as we were there longer I noticed how dirty it was. The carpets in the hallway... More

It felt like we were in a state of limbo throughout our 3 night stay....in the Bourbon Loft. We never saw any Proprietor or Service person in our 3 night stay. The good - a comfortable bed and a nice living room (although it is separate from the bedroom and required us to lock and unlock the doors to the... More

I am so sorry you were disappointed with your stay with us. The reason you didn't see your housekeeper is we try and refresh your cottage everyday while you are out. I did get your note about the remote batteries and did replace them, I am sorry they did not work. We leave tables downstairs are not left over from... More

We stayed for two nights and took the Mixology Class at 9 am on a Saturday morning. Now this may seem a tad early for bourbon drinks but Rosemary is a master of mixing and made this class fun and informative with the Colonel's assistance. I have bee making Mint Juleps for years but will never make another without using... More

We had a wonderful stay in the Bourbon Loft at the Chapeze House (circa 1787). A unique historic location. Very convenient to many distilleries on the Bourbon Trail. Downtown Bardstown is very quaint and full of history. You simply must schedule a Bourbon University with the Colonel and Margaret Sue. You will come away with an experience for a lifetime... More

We called just last week thinking there would not be any availability with it being Memorial Day weekend. Margaret got back to me right away and we stayed at the John Fitch cottage. It's great; very clean and so nice to have a cozy house to ourselves. Location is perfect; we walked to Talbott Tavern for dinner. Then strolled around... More
