I called enroute from Maryland luckily, Audrey had one room upstairs available for the night. We'd driven 9 hours and decided at the last minute to stay in beautiful Bardstown. We were given an upstairs room and it was comfortable, quiet and cool. Breakfast was delicious with homemade turnovers, delicious home fries, fruit and an egg casserole. We sat outside... More

Bardstown is a great place to visit and what pushed the visit from great to awesome was our stay at the Red Rose Inn. The location is good, within easy walking distance of many attractions. But what makes the Inn awesome is Audrey, the gracious host. She was friendly, interesting to visit with, and went out of her way to... More

Party of 4 adults from Scotland making their first visit to Kentucky. Bardstown is a beautiful place and The Red Rose Inn made our visit all the more special. Audrey is a perfect host and her breakfasts are outstanding especially when you have the added delight of enjoying breakfast on the large deck at the rear of the Inn. The... More

We stayed here three nights in March and really enjoyed it. We needed to come to Bardstown again so it was a cinch to stay here again. Audrey is an artist with the breakfast menu. It is always delicious. I joke I pay for the breakfast and get the room for free. The home is lovely with period decor. I... More

We had such a wonderful experience. The Inn is within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, galleries, and other local attractions. It is a peaceful place that welcomes you the moment you start up the path. Audrey was a gracious host--willing to help, sharing her amazing gift of cooking (I've never had such a delicious meal), and providing a warm... More

After a day of tasting on the Bourbon trail, it was great to have such a convenient place to stay in Bardstown. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Audrey and Rosie! They made us immediately feel right at home. We checked into our room and found it to be clean and comfortable. Some have commented that the lack of full... More

My husband and I were lucky enough to stay here for one night on our travels through America. What a great B&B and a lovely room - very much home from home. Audrey looks after you, offers helpful info and dishes up an excellent breakfast. Thank you Audrey for a wonderful stay.

Thank you Sandra, for your kind words. It is very special to us share a bit of time with guests from other areas. I hope you are enjoying your visit to America as much as I enjoyed my visit to England. More

Spent one night at this B&B... Location is outstanding... right in the heart of Bardstown and so easily walkable to any downtown store, restaurant, and tavern... Pluses...The owner's dog Rosie is the most adorable 9 year old "puppy" that I've seen and had the best greeting... the room is tastefully decorated and this B&B had a great outside deck and... More

We stayed here three days and would recommend this for a wonderful stay in Bardstown. You will love Rosie, a King Charles dog of the inn. Breakfast is spectacular and we loved the deck in the backyard. There's several koi ponds. Perfect location from all the shops around the square. We stayed in the beautifully decorated Hunt room. The inn... More

It is so rewarding to know that our guests are comfortable and enjoy our Inn. We strive to provide a "homelike" atmosphere. Little Rosie very much enjoys being our welcoming ambassador and misses our guests when they leave. She somehow is able to convey to them that she likes her back and ears scratched. We both enjoy meeting and spending... More
