Recently, my husband and I stayed two nights at the Beautiful Dreamer Bed and Breakfast located in Bardstown, Kentucky and we had a wonderful experience. The B&B is beautiful and perfectly located for touring the Bourbon Trail and other sites in the area. Our room "The Beautiful Dreamer" offered us one of the most relaxing and comfortable rooms we have...

This is one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed. Dan and Lynell were most gracious, courteous, and friendly. The house was spotless. There were books, movies, all kinds of reading materials, and games in every room of the house. There were delicious cupcakes awaiting us when we checked into our room. There was a well stocked mini fridge...

Clean, close to downtown, great breakfast, beautiful rooms, nice snacks/drinks - I was so glad we picked this B&B for our first trip to Bardstown. The owners are friendly and know a lot about the town. It's directly across from My Old Kentucky Home and the Stephen Foster Story - So be sure to make time for those!

Wonderful place to stay in Bardstown. Hosts Dan and Lynell could not be more pleasant and accomodating, and Lynell fixes a really excellent breakfast. She makes grits like she means it. Right across the highway from the Stephen Foster home, although in the spring and summer all you'll see is the leaves on the trees from the comfortable, inviting upstairs...

We had decided to cancel our reservation in Louisville and try a B&B in the little town of Bardstown. We were not disappointed. The town is delightful and the Beautiful Dreamer is one of the best B&B experiences that we have had. Our room was very well appointed with a comfortable bed and wing back chairs. The hot water was...

This 4-room guest house has all the charm and amenities you desire in a B&B, including gracious hosts, on-site parking, and close proximity to all the attractions. The owners take great pride in their home as evidenced in the spotless and beautiful rooms. Our room, the Federal Room, was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Outside our room on the second level...

Husband and I just returned from a stay at the Beautiful Dreamer. This B&B is located away from downtown Bardstown in a lovely residential area. There's a huge second-level front porch that runs the length of the front (you can see it in the pictures) and overlooks My Old Kentucky Home. Would be stunning in the spring/summer. It is impossible...

This is an old fashioned b and b run by the wonderful Lynelle. Spotless room with huge huge bathroom and fabulous jacuzzi tub. If you are put off by victoriana at b and bs you may not go for the Beautiful Dreamer, but if you aren't you will love your stay and love Lynelle. She serves a great breakfast and...

We recently stayed here for three days while in Bardstown and the Beautiful Dreamer is definitely one of the better B & B's we have found. Our room (the Beautiful Dreamer) was very spacious with a comfortable seating area and large bathroom. We enjoyed the complimentary snacks and drinks while sitting on the large balcony on the second floor enjoying...

“We were on the ground floor. The guests above us got up very early, 5:30 or so, and made a racket until they left an hour or so later. I suspect that this is not a common occurrence.”

“US 150 in this area connects Springfield to Bardstown and it runs directly in front of the inn; which means lots of traffic noise. Cars as well as trucks use the route. We found the traffic noise began around 5:30am and to be continuous until about 10-10:30pm. There is no public transit on this route. There are sidewalks into town. I only point this out; we had no problem sleeping as traffic was not an issue during sleep hours for us.”
