The Bananas was the most relaxing part of my adventure in Thailand. Olli created a peaceful oasis just 30 minutes from Krabi town that offers amazing food (both vegan and for meat eaters), relaxing environment and a magical pier where you can swim with bio-luminescent plankton! Awesomely, coconut beach was empty and only a 15/20 minute walk away. The Bananas...

In some ways, I want to give this place 5 stars; in some ways, I want to give it 0. For me the bad, overall, outweighed the good. I wish I could give it 2.5 stars. I guess I'll list the good, the "meh," and the bad, and let everyone sort it out for themselves. The good: -obviously, the actual...

We loved our stay at the bananas, so much so we asked for an extension. It's away from the hassle & bustle of the city's. Olli, James and Jenny were fantastic throughout our stay nothing was too much bother for them they even assisted me with my poorly foot giving me ice and ensured it was elevated The whole atmosphere...

Visited for New Years this past year with my family and could not have asked for a better stay. Olli is an incredible host and everything is so laid back. Great food cooked for dinner every night and the staff is really helping in getting you to the beaches and other parts of town. Thanks again Olli!

It's a backpacker's paradise. Banana offers family style dinner, you pay 150 baht for a 2 local dishes buffet. They cook with fresh local materials. Thanks to banana german owner, you will enjoy fresh and even better taste breakfast and smoothies (charge by menu). They have a beautiful Mangrove deck, only in high tide you can swim within, most time...

I absolutely adored this place. I stayed several nights and you can easily leave your things, everybody is honest and nice. I had so many wonderful days there. You can rent a kayak to go explore the islands around and they also offer tours. Also, the restaurant and Ollie (the owner) are so nice.

We came with 2 nights booked and soon extended this to 4, and would have stayed longer if possible. There are various bamboo or stone huts arranged around a small jetty in an area of mangroves. You can swim from the jetty at high tide, or simply grab a hammock and watch the sun rise/ set. One day we hired...

I loved my stay here - it was very quiet and relaxing. This is thanks in a large part to the location, in a small village far from the crowds of Au Nang. Also the company - over my 4-5 days I met interesting and like minded people. Days were very quiet - walking to near by beaches, hiring a...

We arrived in the morning with only one night booked and wished we could have stayed for a week. A beautiful, peaceful place at quite a distance from the town. A jetty for sun (or moon!)-bathing, hammocks, lovely wooden houses to sleep in, a very relaxed atmosphere (including an optional communal meal) and no noise at night other than the...

We really liked it here and I would recommend this place to a friend. The food was very good, the staff friendly and I found everything to be priced fairly. No beach but a dock in the mangroves and great beach recommendations. I will definitely come back here.
