They had a great breakfast setup, the room was clean, and repairs made appropriately. I wish all of my Super 8 stays were this good. Cheap and good service, you can’t beat that. This was the best of the 7 hotels we stayed at traveling the area.
I just stayed at this hotel for 5 days while on a building project in Bremen, KY. The building and rooms were clean, and everything worked fine. Housekeeping made my bed and replaced my towels every day. The only complaint I have is that in the evenings, several guests who I was told are frequent, were drinking beer and smoking(basically partying)right outside the front door, so that everyone who came back to the hotel for the night had to walk through beer bottles and drunk people to get to the front entrance and our rooms. This gave the front entrance a very trashy appearance, and on the evening of July 4th, we heard gunfire at the rear of the property, which made myself and the rest of my group uneasy. Nice hotel, clean rooms, but you shouldn’t have people throwing a drunk party at the front entrance.…
There was a distinct smell to the room, though it had a No Smoking symbol on the door. It was 62 degrees upon entering. There were gooey stains on one of the bedcovers (which I always remove from the bed anyhow) but the sheets appeared to be fresh and clean. The edges of the room didn't seem to have been vacuumed anytime in recent history. The people at the desk were pleasant and the price was right.
We needed a nights rest from traveling, otherwise, we would have left. Dead spider in the bathroom which was decimated in the morning (what else is there?), our disabled aunt was given a 2nd floor room even though we requested main floor since there is no elevator, aunt’s TV did not work, and 2nd floor a mix of smoking/nonsmoking rooms (like that works). We waited at breakfast for food to be replenished, but we had to finally ask the front desk for help. Glad it was only a few hours of stay.
Our blankets had cigarette burn holes in them. I understand that it is a pet friendly hotel, but we were woke up at 6:00am by a barking dog. It was scratching at its door. It woke up every one on our floor. Made one person so mad he started yelling and slamming his door opened and shut. The smell of cigarettes was present in the hotel. We were supposed to be there for a week. We checked out and let the front desk employee know what had happened. She was nice. We will never stay at a super 8 hotel again.
Top floor booked to ball teams and teens were running and screaming well into the night. I was woke up at 6:30am by a crying and scratching dog. I did hear an attendant telling them to quiet down late in the night. Unsure if I will be compensated.
This is why the saying “you get what you pay for was created!” The money saved will be spent in multiples if you bring roaches home. Stains on beds that were unchanged. Complete and utter filth. Front desk girl was great - poor thing. Unequivocal hard no on this hotel.
No clean towels 2 weekends in a row. Staff had to go to Walmart and buy new towels. Not sure that linens were clean. Carpets in hallway were dirty as well as in room. I hope we don't stay here on next work trip.
I stayed here during the week of 9/7/21 through 9/14/21. The staff that I dealt with were super friendly and very accommodating to all my requests. During my stay the hotel was booked solid with guests from all over the United States. The staff were extremely busy but handled every guest request very professionally! ( Hotel ran out of linens for guests and Danielle, hotel manager, on duty went out and purchased some out of pocket) Hotel staff Danielle, Joyce, Tommy, Sonja, were amazing to me, could not have asked for any better service. The hotel could definitely use a facelift/updated carpet, etc, however for the price it is okay! I would stay here again. Teresa Cox Dallas, TX
Decent property. I liked the location and while I didnt use the indoor pool or exercise room they did look appealing. Breakfast was lacking as a lot of places are now days. Small bottle of water, muffin and a cup of fruit was offered. Diamond status was not recognized and request for late checkout had a reply of "I can only get permission for 30 additional minutes". I think next trip I will return to the days inn across the street.
