Experience a classic Kentucky Horse Farm B&B with its rolling hills, pastures and barns. The house overlooks a stunning 40 acre lake. Enjoy fishing on our lake, nearby golf, shopping at quaint nearby towns of Georgetown, Midways and Versailles, an afternoon tea service in our gazebo by the lake, and walking trails around the farm.
Beautiful property and working stable - a real Kentucky horse ranch. It’s the perfect place to stay for visiting the Bourbon Trail and the horse country. It’s only a few minutes from Georgetown, Midway, and the Old Friends Farm. The rooms are large, comfortable, spotless, and well appointed. Delicious breakfast.

Claire and John were so laid back you immediately felt welcomed and relaxed! It felt like we just fit into the groove of their family for a short period of time, kids and all. You need to be an animal lover to fully embrace all the happenings of the home.We were delighted we could bring our Golden as we had not travelled with her before. The room was clean , spacious well decorated and so comfortable! Shower was great with plenty of warm water. The 140 acres were wide open for our exploration, such a beautiful setting to experience in fall! The breakfast was delicious and all was on our time!Claire easily accommodated a vegetarian option! Staying at Queenslake was completely relaxing and exactly the setting my husband and I needed for our time away. we even learned a little bit about horses and enjoyed the stories of how Queenslake came to be. We will definitely be back!…

My husband and I REALLY needed a quiet and relaxing weekend escape. Queenslake was exactly what we needed. When we first pulled into the beautifully tree lined driveway, we knew we had made the right choice. This is a gorgeous horse farm and bed-and-breakfast. John & Claire were very gracious hosts. We enjoyed a horseback ride our first day. The property is a tranquil slice of heaven. You can enjoy sitting on the back deck enjoying your morning coffee, evening drinks before or after dinner, relax on the dock, enjoy fishing, kayaking, or just stroll around the lakes taking in the beautiful sites. They even have a big fire pit by the lake to enjoy hanging around with friends or other guests in the evening. Hunter also offers S’more Roasting on Friday nights. The farm pets are very friendly and you may get lucky enough to have on of the beautiful cats or dogs snuggle up in your lap. It is pet friendly. Our dog had fun exploring the farm too! Breakfast was delicious and they even allowed my husband and I to cook for them one morning! If anything, they make you feel right at home instantly. The rooms are very cozy. One has a private bath & the other two share a bath. Perfect for a few couples or friends that want to stay together after a day of doing the bourbon trail - Or, in our case, just enjoyed meeting new people! Location is prime. Quick trip to Georgetown, 30ish minutes to Lexington & Midway is close too! Midway is a nice afternoon trip for unique shopping and lunch. There are local restaurants that don’t disappoint within 10-15 minutes. I’d recommend reservations if they offer them. They do have a barn for weddings too! I can’t imagine how gorgeous the photos would be on this property!…

We stayed here this summer, and it was a disappointing experience to say the least. The towels were not clean (they had blonde hair on them), the water in the shower was not even warm (it stayed cold for the duration of our stay), and the water was hard and burned both of our eyes. I would not recommend this B&B to anyone.

This Kentucky farm opens its home and barn to guests and their horses. The horse accommodations are large safe box stalls in a cool barn. The property is beautiful to ride on and the location is in the heart of horse country. The humans stay in a clean, comfortable, quiet and beautifully updated home. The breakfasts are delicious. The hosts go out of their way to make your stay perfect for you.

Gracious living with very hospitable hosts, delicious breakfasts and gorgeous views! The bedrooms are upstairs, private and very spacious and comfortable. In the early morning, coffee with friends on the back porch is delightful as well as drinks in the evening before going to dinner. The guineas, chickens, ducks, geese and crowing rooster roaming the grounds that all add to the homey, country, relaxing atmosphere of Queenslake. A very enjoyable stay!

This is a restored farmhouse located in between the historic Kentucky cities of Midway and Georgetown in the heart of "horse country." The property is also a sport horse training and boarding facility which adds to its uniqueness. The rooms for the B&B are on the second floor (up a beautiful spiral staircase) and are spacious, comfortable, and completely updated. The bathrooms are similarly remodeled, spacious and thoughtful. Claire Chmela greets her guests (or her husband John does) and offers breakfast "on the guest's schedule." Coffee is always available and my breakfast was absolutely delicious. First there was a yogurt, fresh fruit and granola bowl followed by a fried egg, goat cheese and avocado over toast combination. The menu varies and Claire tries to accommodate your preferences. This is a superior property in every way for a visitor to this neck of the woods. The property is just a few miles north of I-64 and then about a half a mile off the road. You are literally minutes away from Midway and Georgetown and about 45 minutes away for Lexington. I found it quiet, spacious, comfortable and memorable in just about any way. Even the view of the surrounding farmland is something you will never see in a hotel. My most enthusiastic recommendation…

We spent 5 nights at Queenslake. The rooms are large and perfectly appointed. The hosts were terrific, helpful and fed us well. We loved being on a real working horse farm, after all we were in horse country. We loved the lake and the green rolling hills on their 140 acres. What more can you say in a review than you hope to to return to Queenslake soon.

If you're a lover of horses and spectacular views this might just be your paradise on earth! The rooms are beautiful and spacious, the coffee is always fresh, and the hosts are caring, compassionate, and down to earth. Combine the cozy atmosphere inside with the lake and rolling hills outside and you will want to return anytime you're in the Georgetown Kentucky area. Will be back for sure!
