Old and a bit dirty with smelly / musty hallways. No digital key option, which I've come to expect from hotels in the Hilton family. There are likely better options in the immediate vicinity. But the bed was comfortable and the room did its job for a quick overnight.

We were greeted at 11 pm by the front desk staff member who was waiting for us. She was professional and helpful. The rooms were clean and quiet. There was plenty of parking too. We were grateful that there were lysol wipes available at the elevator, too.

We have stayed at many Hampton Inns, and generally found them to be a reliable choice, with clean accommodations and friendly staff, this Hampton is NOT either of those. They clearly need to invest in a new vacuum, the finishes were worn and tired, and the bathroom was not clean. The most frustrating thing, is that our room had a connecting door, which we didn't know when booking, and the noise through the door was unbearable. I kindly asked the front desk attendant to relocate us to another room, I don't expect children to be quiet, I just didn't want to try to sleep next to that, nor listen to their parents yelling at them. The clerk rudely replied "we are all sold out", and then just glared at me. I tried again to request a solution, and he said he could tell them to be quiet after 10. I responded with understanding, I didn't expect him to tell them to be quiet, that kids make noise, I just don't want to be next door to the racket. He said "there is nothing I can do" with no offer of a remedy. Do yourself a favor and don't stay at this hotel, but if you do, don't expect the usual quality or service.

We experience problems with our room but those problems paled in comparison to the ensuing disaster dealing with management. We complained about two problems we found on entering the room but it seems these problems are commonplace at this facility and we were wrong to question them.

Hotel bed was clean. Rugs in room and halls were dirty. Chairs and desk chair worn and dirty. Smell of cooking in hall was overpowering on 3rd floor. Very expensive for a stay in a dated, worn hotel. Would not stay there again.

Had a terrible experience with their uninformed front desk. Ultimately went across the street to the Comfort Inn. I walked in with my government credentials like I have done for the last 34 years. The front desk told me I had to book online to get a government rate. I said that I have never had to book online and had just stayed at Hampton Inns for the 4 previous nights. The 2nd desk clerk then told me I had to have travel papers and that my federal credentials weren't enough. I told her I wasn't military and had never had to have travel papers. I am government but not military. They didn't want to provide a room and had no clue about the rules. Comfort inn was a great place, and I had no problems with them. I suggest staying there. They have a very nice complimentary hot breakfast and an indoor pool.

We arrived later than expected., but with a reservation of several days. The place appeared to be full. Our room gave the impression that latecomers get leftover rooms. The armchair in the room had stuffing coming out in a couple of places. The tub had the telltale plastic "bandaid" that is hiding something by covering the surface with a patch. I don't feel this is being too picky. This isn't a discount hotel. Travelers are guests after all. To me a room less than worthy of the guest is disrespectful. A room that isn't presentable should be taken out of the roster until it is.

The rooms are in a sad state of disrepair—dirty, dingy and dank. This is not what one would expect from a Hampton Inn. The price charged amounted to price gouging for a room if this quality. Do yourself a favor—make another choice.

First for the good. We were greeted nicely when we checked in. The lobby and pool area were updated and looked really good. The parking lot and general area was also good. A Fazolis was right across the parking lot and a steakhouse just down the street. The not so good. Our room was clean but really needed some attention. The tub surround had two large cracks in it. The tub and sink drained slowly and there was a loose floor tile. The tv remote was one of the worst I have ever used. Maybe we just couldn’t figure it out but it didn’t have a menu button. Had to turn the power off and back on the see menu and then it would continuously scroll up. Idk, definitely was frustrating. Overall our stay was ok but not up to the Hampton Inn standard that we’re used to.
