We stopped here for the night on our way to Tennessee for a family wedding. Check-in was easy, and everyone was so nice. Due to covid-19, they weren’t serving the free breakfast the next morning, so the woman at the front desk gave us bags of food to take to our room. Muffins, nutrition-grain bars, bottled water, sausage and egg sandwiches and orange juice. So much food, we all ate well at breakfast time in the room, and had plenty to take with us for snacks on the rest of our trip. The room was very clean, beds were comfortable and everything smelled nice. Our kids loved the pool, and we even were able to have our dog with us. Very happy with the rate of the room as well. Would definitely stay here again!

During our travels over the past years we have always enjoyed staying at Hampton Inns. I’ve notice more and more that they are getting old and in need of remodeling. The Hampton Inn in Georgetown is no exception. The decor is from the 90’s, furniture is ratty and needs a good steam cleaning. The staff was very friendly and our room very clean, just needs updating.

Hampton Inn is one our our preferred "go-to" hotels. This one is good. The less than great rating is due to a few minors simply relating to "in need of some typical Hampton Inn upscaling" and the "hot water" not being hot at the coffee station in the lobby. That said, renovations are being, or to be, done. And hot water can be brewed in one's room.
Lovely indoor swimming pool. Very nice breakfast offerings. The usual USA Today available daily. Friendly front desk which I appreciated since they gave me local dining options other than chain restaurants. And we loved the one we chose -- excellent food.

Response from Chris_Jones3, Front Office Manager at Hampton Inn Lexington/georgetown

One of the nice things about being a hotel that has been in Georgetown for many years, is the number of regular guests we have that have been coming back and staying with us again and again. We appreciate their support and are glad to provide them the quality of service that all of our guests deserve, and can expect to receive. Since we have been here so long, we have had several renovations to keep our hotel updated. We are currently in the beginning phase of doing a complete renovation - both inside and out. We are closing one floor at a time and working during the day so as not to disturb our guests, and keeping the hotel open. We have already completed renovating our pool and hot tub area, and have added a new "Suite Shop" in the lobby. We have begun remolding the serving area and the dining room. We have added new items to our breakfast menu, including smoothies, that our guests have really enjoyed. The city of Georgetown has been growing the last several years. we now have over 35 restaurants, ranging from fast food to fine dining within a five-mile radius of our hotel. We hope that the next time you are in the area, that you will come back and stay with us again. Thank you. Chris L. Sutton Front Office Manager

We have stayed at many Hampton Inns, and generally found them to be a reliable choice, with clean accommodations and friendly staff, this Hampton is NOT either of those. They clearly need to invest in a new vacuum, the finishes were worn and tired, and the bathroom was not clean. The most frustrating thing, is that our room had a connecting door, which we didn't know when booking, and the noise through the door was unbearable. I kindly asked the front desk attendant to relocate us to another room, I don't expect children to be quiet, I just didn't want to try to sleep next to that, nor listen to their parents yelling at them. The clerk rudely replied "we are all sold out", and then just glared at me. I tried again to request a solution, and he said he could tell them to be quiet after 10. I responded with understanding, I didn't expect him to tell them to be quiet, that kids make noise, I just don't want to be next door to the racket. He said "there is nothing I can do" with no offer of a remedy. Do yourself a favor and don't stay at this hotel, but if you do, don't expect the usual quality or service.

The woman at the front desk was very curt and unfriendly. The wallpaper in the bedroom was peeling at the seams and looked very shabby. The bathroom tub was dirty with a sheet of white paper laying over the bottom of the tub to cover it up. The king bed was horrible, very uncomfortable. There was a huge indentation where people have slept and I could feel the springs.
Do not stay in this hotel, it is the worst Hampton Inn that I have ever been in. I am shocked that a Hampton Inn would be this run down.

The hotel room was very clean, the beds were OK. The hallway carpet on the second floor looked old and kinda loose in places. Really needs updating/replacing. Only stayed 2 nights over a weekend. I didn’t hear any noise and I was fairly close to the elevator. The hotel was full. I was disappointed when I went for coffee that afternoon and informed they only made coffee in the morning. Clerk told me I could make some in my room and gave me two pkgs for the coffee maker. Well, coffee from that little coffee maker is disgusting. No maid server, but not surprised, I was only there 2 nights. The soap pkgs and towels were sufficient. Morning breakfast was OK, only ate a waffle each morning. The morning coffee was good. Too bad, they only make it in the morning. Also, I had to pull TV channels up on TV screen, no listings in printed form. All in all, it was fine and I would stay there again. Haven’t looked at my credit card statement yet, but it should be correct. I did not purchase any snacks during my stay.

The rooms are in a sad state of disrepair—dirty, dingy and dank. This is not what one would expect from a Hampton Inn. The price charged amounted to price gouging for a room if this quality. Do yourself a favor—make another choice.

I was pleased we selected this hotel for our Thanksgiving visit with family. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating to me and my elderly parents. We also brought our (not so small) 7 mo old puppy and they didn’t bat an eye (as long as he stayed away from the food areas). East peasy!

This Hampton Inn is somewhat dated, but the beds are very comfortable. The room was clean except for the shower. Bath mat was dirty, mold around soap dish and the water did not drain! The front desk indicated they were aware of the drain problem when I reported it.

We arrived later than expected., but with a reservation of several days. The place appeared to be full. Our room gave the impression that latecomers get leftover rooms. The armchair in the room had stuffing coming out in a couple of places. The tub had the telltale plastic "bandaid" that is hiding something by covering the surface with a patch. I don't feel this is being too picky. This isn't a discount hotel. Travelers are guests after all. To me a room less than worthy of the guest is disrespectful. A room that isn't presentable should be taken out of the roster until it is.
