This particular Country inn has become our regular stop on I75. Very convenient location, exceptionally nice staff and decent breakfast. Have never availed ourselves of the pool or exercise facilities, but they are there for families to relax after a long drive.
Great clean hotel. Delicious scrambled eggs and crispy bacon! Loved our whirlpool suite #101 ! After 9 hours of driving the whirlpool really helps the muscles relax so a better sleep and feel better the next morning. Very comfortable bed! Also Todd was wonderful at check in
Check-in staff was very friendly, nice, and and accommodating. Housekeeping spoke to us everytime we walked by. They also cleaned our room when they didn't have to. It clearly states they will only clean your room on the 3rd day unless you request it . They also have a tag to hang on the door to request housekeeping. With it just being my husband and my self, we are pretty clean people and clean after ourselves a d didn't need housekeeping. Probably wouldn't need it they 2 days we stayed. They still came in and cleaned our room. Thought that was nice of them. Breakfast lady told us good morning both mornings. Breakfast was good. It had the normal things hotels has for breakfast. It was clean. Our room was huge it had a living room, a bedroom, a jacuzzi room, and a bathroom. It was very clean, no complaint. The inside pool/hot tub area we did not use but we did look through the window at it. It was clean and nice looking. The hotel in general was way above my expectations for the money I paid. Anytime I return to the Lexington area, I found my forever hotel at the Country Inn Georgetown! Thank you for having a wonderful home away from home!…
The room was clean and the Suite we stayed in was great for my family of 6. It was only $20 for our dog. There are a lot of places to eat near by. The breakfast was delicious with waffles, eggs, potatoes, and bacon! Thanks to the staff!
The bed was comfortable. We had a roomy King Suite for a very reasonable price. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was delicious! Biscuits and gravy, sausage, waffles, juice, coffee, and fresh fruit. Yummy!
Consistent and reliable service. Pet friendly and clean facility. We’ve been staying here for many years. The only negative I would say is the carpeting and some of the rooms need a thorough cleaning. Breakfast comes with the room, pretty decent.and coffee is great.
Staff nice and friendly. Accommodations were great. Best sleep in a hotel ever!! The hot tub and pool were nice and clean. Room clean. Outside clean. Inside clean. Easy to park and get luggage to elevator.
Very friendly staff. Rooms are large with a sitting area in each room. Breakfast was decent—make your own waffles; eggs; bacon; cereal; fruit. Staff continues to replenish the bar. We enjoyed the sitting area on the second floor to visit with friends. Warm cookies were a plus in the afternoon. About 30 minutes to Ark Encounter. About 15 min to Lexington area. While not perfect, we would stay here again.
I don’t understand how this hotel has 4.5 stars for its rating. We reserved a two bedroom suite and it was very rundown. Half of the outlets didn’t work, there were stains on the shades and the walls were dirty. I will say the staff were friendly and the beds were clean, however on our king bed the sheets barely fit and kept popping off. We checked out early and went over to the Home 2 suites and it was a night and day difference.
The suite room was nice because our son had the front room to himself. The room was pretty clean and in good condition compared to hotels these days to are usually dirty. The room did have a stale smell to it hinting of cigarette smoke or animals. The air conditioning unit made some sort of hum noise constantly, which kept my wife and son from having a good night's rest. The front door is not sound tight, so we heard every little noise in the hallway. The tiny pool definitely needs cleaning! There is a film of algae along the waterline and the floor was slimy causing me to almost slipped and fall. The whirlpool jets don't work.
