My husband and myself stopped in georgetown for a quick sleep and bite to eat before hitting the open road again. We were skeptical because of bad super8 stays in 5he past, but the desk clerk let us view the room and she assured us they were following all COVID guidlines. The hotel looks newly redone. Romm was very clean with a comfy bed. Lobby was pretty and smelled of fresh cleaning (smelled of fabuloso, my favorite) supplies everytime we came through.
Within walking distance of multiple restaurants and a gas station without having to go back on the main road. We are not smokers, but driving around the hotel I noticed a covered and well lite smoking area with picnic tables.
Checkin and out was easy. Paula and Ashley were at the desk when we checked out both were very friendly and printed out a map with directions for us. Us old folk struggle with technology, it was nice to have help.
During the pandemic travel is scary, if you are looking for a clean and safe place i recommend this location. Gave us faith in Super 8 again.

Hotel seems newly remodeled and well kept. Facility was very clean, bright & modern. Beautifully decorated, our headboards were gorgeous canvas prints...Bed was extremely comfortable...like sleeping on a cloud. The girl working the desk in the morning (Ashely maybe?) was very cheery & had lots of great recommendations on local things to do. She sent us shopping in the very beautiful historic downtown and recommended a great spot for brunch! There were also lots of good places to eat within walking distance from the hotel. We will definitely be back.

The ladies that work the front counter when we stayed were extremely nice! They had offered us a water when we came in because I mentioned I was thirsty. When I got out of the pool I need an extra conditioner and she was more than happy to get it for me. Both ladies complimented us on how cute our puppy was (he's 10 btw). To me customer service is everything and you just don't find it this good nowadays.

The walls are very thin and you could hear everything and I mean EVERYTHING in the adjacent rooms.
The included breakfast was done at 9am and housekeeping was coming around at 830am. Way too early, especially on the weekends.

I organized a group trip from our church in Alabama to the creation museum and ark encounter. We brought over 40 people on the trip, and stayed two nights at the Super 8 here in Georgetown. First, planning the trip was easy and they worked with me to get out group taken care of really well. We needed to make a change about a week away from our arrival and the accommodated graciously. When we arrived at 1 am, they had everything ready and we were all in our rooms within 20 minutes.
Everyone commented on how great the accommodations were! The new renovations were obvious, the rooms were spacious, the staff was extremely helpful (you know how stressful it can be dealing with 40 people filling the lobby all at once!), And the free breakfast sped up our departure each morning by at least 45 minutes.
Plus, there are several other restaurants within walking distance so the group had options when it was time to eat supper.
The value for all that was incredible, I can't imagine we'd have found another hotel at that price anywhere near as nice as our stay. I highly recommend this hotel!

The staff are all friendly and helpful. The rooms are updated, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast bar has limited choices but was adequate. Would have liked a few more options to eat. It is conveniently located off of the highway, however, due to this closeness there was road noise when trying to sleep. Turning on the bathroom ceiling fan helped to lessen the road noise a little (I am a VERY light sleeper).

Stayed 3 nights , staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was perfect, nice size, bed was comfortable, and very clean. The pool was great for the afternoon dip to cool down. The hotel is conveniently located to many restaraunts and to I -75. We stayed on the bottom floor and it was quiet, no noise from I-75 in our room No complaints! Would definately stay here again.

This Super 8 is affordable, but nicer than some other more expensive hotel chains I have stayed at. It is nicely updated and very clean. It was very quiet at night despite the hotel being fully booked during the weekend we stayed. We had everything we needed/wanted for the price.

PROS - Easy check in with friendly front desk staff. We requested a top floor room and it was quiet, with no outside noise coming in. Plenty of hot water, and decent water pressure. The beds tend toward firm without being so hard you felt like you were sleeping on a board. There is special parking for Veterans, which we appreciated. Good location right off the interstate, with plenty of restaurants and stores close by
CONS - This is an old motel and it shows. The sink is located right by the front door, and there is barely enough room to shut the bathroom door, which in our case had a big hole by the knob. I wasn’t recognized as a Wyndham Points Member, which I understand is very important to this brand. After reading some of the reviews, we were looking forward to biscuits and gravy for breakfast. How disappointed we were to find out that not only was there none to be found, there were no pastries, no breakfast meats, and very limited space for anyone to eat.
If you’re looking for an inexpensive motel for an overnight stay, this would probably work for you. With all the choices of motels so close by, I will choose another motel next time we are passing through.
