We spent one afternoon/night here May 1 en route to our destination. Early in the season so many of the park amenities were not open yet. The park is neat, clean, bargain priced ($45 for a site with full hook up) and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. We had a nice site (#10) that was on the little lake. Nothing but good things to say about this RV park except location: it is very near I-75 and the traffic noise is quite loud.

Nice little clean campground. Was in site 220 it was gravel but long and level we have 42’ fifth wheel Easy in and out. Road leading to campground is narrow. Didn’t use laundry or showers saw them being cleaned and maintained. Staff is friendly. Only stayed a couple days as transitional trip. Would stay again.

This campground was not far from Route 75 and near the more historical part of Georgetown, KY. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the nice pool they had available for guests. The spacing for the campers was good, Did not use their bath house facilities, so cannot comment on that. Overall it was a good experience staying there. Would go back and stay there again.

I stayed here in April of 2022 and it was nice and convenient and I had a pull through site that was really nice this time a back in site! Now I am just going to say that the employees working the desk are really nice and the park seems clean and nice that being said there seems to be a lot of locals with seasonal sites and they seemed nice and they did quiet down during quiet hours so that was all good! The main complaint was we called told them 35 foot travel trailer and the site was a back in the far corner of the park it had nice new gravel but it was the most unlevel site I have ever been on I know it’s Kentucky but to put all that money into making a site and not make it level seems crazy! So after I backed in I always check my level Side to side first and that was fine I never imagined not being able to get perfectly level front to back I would have had to bring the back of the camper up 6 to 10 inches to be level I don’t carry that much cribbing! I had my front of the camper almost touching the ground and the back of the camper so high in the air that I had to use 4 Lego blocks to ge the jacks down I wish I would have had more Lego blocks with me or more wood to back on but it was getting late so I just made do I was still not perfectly level that was the funny part! So beware they might have a few sites that are very unlevel check it out before you are in the middle of setting up!

So wish that we had arrived earlier and could have stayed later. Easy pull through site, instructions and a very good map left on the door of the office for us (Owner called before closing to make sure we were still coming). Soooo many amenities and a quiet beautiful park. will stay there again if we're in the area. Reasonable rate and close to The Ark Encounter!!!

I am truly trying to ascertain how this won a Campspot Award as Most Popular in USA. This is a decent campground but there is really nothing special here. Sites are very close together and as someone previously stated, sites are long enough for trailer but tow vehicle must park out front. Camp ground charges $25.00 if you park on grass so it limits the location of your truck. In some cases it makes it pretty tough backing into a site. Who ever did the photos did a great job making the campground look spacious. Again, this is not a bad campground, but I am dumbfounded about it being an award winner. Makes me question Campspots criteria.

Needs more shade trees, more family activities for Saturday. Nice bathouses, mostly friendly staff. Fishing, playground, basketball court, bouncy houses, pool are all nice. 2 dog parks which is a plus. Need some type of hiking trails, even if just a short distance. Bourbon Trail is close also.

This was a perfect pretty little rv park to spend the night easy pull thru site I will be back to do the bourbon tours in the area! We called last minute and showed up at like 830 and set up as quietly as possible it was pretty level almost didnt have to unhook to get level! Can’t wait to return I won’t forget you and for 63 dollars vs the Kentucky horse park for 40 I will drive by that place every time!

We were left without a place to stay for the night after issues with another area campground. We called Whispering Hills as the office was closing and they were able to quickly register us. We just needed a place to stay for the night, so didn't utilize the facility, but it looked clean, well kept and the pond/pool looked quite nice (pool was off season). I would stay here next time we visited the Ark Encounter.

A bit off the beaten path, but well laid out once you get there. Clean facility, clean showers and restrooms. paved roads. Good checkin, helpful staff. Snowed while we were there and they did plow the roads.
