Booked this place for one night on a 3rd party app, prepaid. Got there and was told they must have $100 cash deposit or credit card--they were unable to use my Visa debit card. Since I'd forgotten my credit card at home, I used the atm in the lobby for the cash or I wouldn't have been staying that night. The $100 deposit was stated on the 3rd party app, but it didn't say they didn't take debit cards. There are signs on the front door that say that, but that was the first I was aware of the policy. Also, since it was a cash deposit--on check out they had to inspect the room to be sure I could get my cash back. I understood all of this and the clean room/quiet night was worth the extra hassle. My wife and I did a road trip through Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee and on our way back north we found this hotel just off of the highway. We initially booked it for the price with some what low expectations. Even when we pulled up it looked sketchy, old and run down but when we got to the rooms we were completely blown away. The rooms were extremely clean, the beds were some of the best on the road-trip. The staff was very nice. Location is great for getting on the highway and for the price this was definitely a steal. This hotel is the physical manifestation of the quote “don’t judge a book by its cover”. I made my TripAdvisor account specifically to give them credit because I was so impressed. Don’t trust the old reviews because they are extremely outdated!

Newly Renovated combination Red Roof and Hometowne studios suites. Stayed in studio suites side great room full size fridge and freezer microwave and stovetop. New beds, new furniture. Staff is super nice and helpful. Great location just off I-75. New owners are putting alot of effort into the remodel i would stay agian

I dont know where they got the pics for this motel but dont believe them. We booked a King online and when we arrived we we're given 2 standard beds. The room had a variation of moths, spiders and other creepy crawlies throughout the corners of this dirty little room. I think jail walls would look better than this place. The toilet seemed to be detached from the floor and the black mold in the shower was a nice touch. I would have to say this was the worst place i have ever experienced. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on a nicer place. Lesson learned.....Dont do it

This hotel was so nasty. 70$ for a hotel with a dirty room, no cable we got basic channels but not for long the water barely came out of the pipes the staff harrased us in the morning house keeping knocked on our door 3 times before 1130 . it was just all around horrible.

Our room was with a comfortable bed, which was all we really wanted. The room was outdated, no refrigerator, no microwave, but we did not need these anyway. We booked online, but the cost when we arrived was 2 dollars higher due to a tax increase, but the cost was cheap for a good nights rest. The only irritating thing was the bathroom stool was filled by a pump and ran for a long time. There was a used washcloth hanging on the shower bar and the bottom of the ice bucket was scummy because it hadn't been cleaned. We reported these to the management.

My 17 year-old granddaughter stayed here the 14th and 15th of July. We were in Kentucky to attend Breyerfest and this hotel was about 10 minutes from there. The staff was friendly and helpful. It sounds a little odd to comment on this, but the water pressure in our shower was outstanding.

My company booked me a room at this hotel and it was extremely nasty. The photos on the internet are not what it looks like when you get there. Room was extremely nasty and dirty. Dead bugs on floor, soap scum an inch thick on shower walls, mouse poop in dresser drawers, fridge and microwave was dirty. Mattresses on beds falling apart and had dried blood on them. Owner was extremely rude and unhelpful. I couldn't believe how bad this place was. I had to sit in my car for 4 hours til my company got me into another hotel. Would not at all recommend this hotel at all. It needs to be shut down it's so bad. Owner told me that since I asked for a smoking room that that's what I get but the next room he offered me before he insisted I just leave was just as bad. Nice little stay for a week. Clean rooms and convince. The owners were super nice and most helpful. Kids enjoyed the swimming pool. We really enjoyed our stay here. Beds were clean. Free breakfast. Quite with no loud people. We has a realizing time. Bout an hour from the Ark. Nice little farms kids enjoyed nearby.

Gross hotel back behind a gas station. Office smelled of smoke but had a big no smoking sign. Pool Green/black with things floating in it. Pictures on the websites must be VERY old. This place is really run down. People living in it, sitting outside smoking. Room had mold all over in it. Worse was the horrible smell. Old stained carpet, old nasty mattress. Gross is the best way to describe this place. Plus our rate here was only $12.00 less then The Sheraton. This hotel should never be rented for more than $40.00 a night! Is close to the horse park, but so are a lot of nicer placed. Refused to refund our stay and said we had to cancel online but she couldn't give us contact information. Finally gave a wrong number to cancel the room.
