Detailed Reviews
We (2 adults, a 17 yr old, a 14 yr. old) stayed here, after a 14 hour drive from Tampa, FL. We arrived there after midnight, so basically just slept there, so didn't spend much time there, but found the room quite basic. What displeased me was the poor Continental Breakfast. We were offered a small, plastic-wrapped honey bun, from a store bought box(it looked like) (I feed my day care infants/toddlers more than that for a mid-morning snack!!), and my husband and I had a coffee. The juice had 'run-out', so we couldn't enjoy a cold drink. I had tried to purchase a bottle of water earlier, from the outside drink machine, but they had 'run out' of that item as well. Poor service!! People expect a good Continental Breakfast nowadays, with a few choices of food. They shouldn't mention a C.B. at all, and just give it as a little bonus. We expected a bit more, to start our day, and we stayed at other basic accommodations along our routes, and received more!!
This is from a website:
If you stayed in a hotel or motel lately, you were probably able to enjoy a continental breakfast. Many lodging facilities now offer this service as part of their amenity package. In fact, it’s gotten to the point where a continental breakfast is to be expected, and it is the rare venue that doesn’t offer this perk. What is a continental breakfast and why is it being offered?
A continental breakfast is simple, not fancy. Don’t expect an elaborate buffet. Depending on the hotel or motel you might receive coffee, tea, assorted juices, rolls, bagels, pastries and perhaps individual sized cereal boxes.

Our room was with a comfortable bed, which was all we really wanted. The room was outdated, no refrigerator, no microwave, but we did not need these anyway. We booked online, but the cost when we arrived was 2 dollars higher due to a tax increase, but the cost was cheap for a good nights rest. The only irritating thing was the bathroom stool was filled by a pump and ran for a long time. There was a used washcloth hanging on the shower bar and the bottom of the ice bucket was scummy because it hadn't been cleaned. We reported these to the management.

We needed a place to stay for Rolex and were trying to save some money while being closer to the park. This place was relatively clean, but badly in need of updating and maintenance. The toilet had to be flushed twice every time we used it, was not properly bolted to the floor, and our last night there, the lid came off. We also had to fiddle with the shower to make it actually come out of the shower head, and it was not designed for anyone over 5 feet tall. The staff was friendly, but not really helpful.

The first night of our stay my husband phoned the front desk multiple times due to the continuous barking of a dog in the next room. We were informed that we were in the "Pet Friendly" building. No such request was made by us and we were not informed of that fact at the time we were issued our room. No restorative sleep was possible.
In the morning (dog still barking), we were given a room in another building and told that we would received a refund for the first night. When we went to check out the next morning, the sign on the lobby/check-in office door said "OPEN", but the door was locked. We knocked repeatedly, waited several minutes, and finally left.
We did not receive the promised refund. We also received no follow-up response to numerous emails and telephone calls to Red Roof Inn.
I provided details as requested, but never heard back from anyone, although I was promised a response within 48 hours. Nothing.

Great room! The only problems I had was I was degraded from their hometown studios room to a regular room and was still given the price of the other room. I was also never told I was getting a downgrade until arrived on site. The room was very nice!

This is hands-down, the finest Red Roof Inn I have ever stayed at staff were professional, kind, and accommodating. The room itself was like a boutique hotel. I highly recommend this facility and most certainly plan on returning when I come back to the area. Thank you for a really nice stay.

We were met outside by a guy high on drugs and across the parking lot we heard a door slam. A guy and lady were in a heated argument. We had bought reservations and we were a day late getting there. But after we were greeted this way we asked for a partial refund. Needless to say a refund was denied. We went a mile down the road and got a different motel for the night

We booked this room with hotels.com under the name Deluxe Inn to find out it was really Knights Inn.... First red flag. The room had no working heat & we were told at 9pm they had no more rooms. We were given a space heater that quickly stopped working. The owner then brought us her last space heater which was her personal heater for her dogs. Once it was plugged in, it kept tripping the breaker until we unplugged the fridge. We were not comfortable sleeping with a space heater but there were no more rooms in the area. There was a noise throughout the night that sounded like a jackhammer. The next morning we asked to cancel our second night. We were met with a lot of pullback until we threatened to get the fire marshal involved....then our cash was quickly returned. This place should be shut down!!!!

We checked in to KI Georgetown on Friday AM for a 1 week stay on business. This place is horrible!!! The rooms are disgusting and maid service is virtually non existent. We had to go out of our way to get clean sheets, and towels or to have the garbage taken out. The price advertised on the sign is NOT the price we were given. During the week we were locked out 3x. and the first time the night manager was incredibly rude and we had to argue for 1hr. for him to unlock the door. Stating that we were not the renters. While he's the same manager that booked us in! The soda machines were out of everything and ate our money several times. KI refused to refund. We were harassed by neighbors & our parking space was always taken. Worst of all we got BED BUGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dry county. Pro's close to great pizza bar with a great happy hour & close to 75 & shopping.
