The rooms were comfortable and they were clean. The grounds were beautiful and we felt safe out walking at any time. Our only problem was that it was hunting seasons and a lot of people had their dogs. The dogs were a problem for one family that was with our group.

The staff was very friendly, but our bed had been remade with dirty sheets from previous guests. It was full of little hairs and little clumps of mud. Maintenence was quick to bring clean linens which we changed ourself. They were apologetic but the hair was everywhere the closer I looked. So disappointed.

Cabins are very basic. Maintenance was an issue (air conditioner didn't work well). We cooked most of our meals and the kitchen was well stocked. But the Refrigerator didn't work. Good for a no frills type of vacay. We didn't catch many fish--way too hot and the lake was very warm.

I came here for a meeting which was held in the Convention center of the Kentucky Dam Village State Park. I stayed in the camping area during the last few days of operation before closing the RV park for the winter. The grounds were well kept and the pads were spacious even for my forty two foot bus. The bath...

I love this place. We went in Spring for a fisherman’s special and they ran out of regular cabins and we ended up in a 3 bedroom cabin with 2 bathrooms and a huge living room. I almost felt guilty for the price we paid. So, recently while on a trip to St. Louis, we stopped again. Just a regular...

Although we normally go out for dinner, my husband surprised me for lunch on my recent birthday. We went to the Harbor Lights Restaurant located in Kentucky Dam Village State Park at Gilbertsville, Kentucky. We were seated beside a curved wall of floor to ceiling windows. The view of Kentucky Lake and the dam was just beautiful. We both ordered...

The lodge rooms are in little buildings that circle the drive. The main lodge is at the end. It includes a lobby with tables and chairs to visit, play cards, or look out the windows at the beautiful view of the lake. There is a big fireplace in the middle. It wasn't lit when we were there. The restaurant is...

This is a beautiful location, in a state park, on Kentucky Lake. There are docks to pull your boat up if you choose to arrive by water. We were excited to have gotten a room here so we could relax for a couple days and enjoy the area as we'd been moving nightly across Kentucky. We had a room facing...

My husband and I needed somewhere to stay last minute on our drive through Kentucky and came across this place. What a nice surprise! Our room was bright, spacious, and very clean, with a small balcony overlooking the lake. Super comfortable bed, and even good quality toiletries. It was off season so it was quiet and calm and we had...

My wife and I decided to go for an evening stroll right about sundown. Kentucky lake was calm, beautiful and serene. Sailboats were all docked there was no wind and there was one small boat fishing. We walked around the edge of the lake and mile or so and passed Kentucky dam village and discovered that we were quite hungry....
