At present, the lodge is closed due to a fire. The campground is long and narrow with plenty of trees and space in between campsites. It also has camping spaces and tethers for those wishing to bring their horses. We really liked this campground and look forward to camping there soon. To book a campsite go to:reserveamerica.com

My family stayed here for Labor Day weekend. As expected, the campground was busy for the holiday. The first thing we noticed is that the campground is very tight for maneuvering. If you have a larger travel trailer or RV, this isn't the campground for you. We have a 33 ft trailer and we weren't sure we would make it... More

Thank you for recently visiting our park. Labor Day Weekend is a very busy weekend in our campground. With the increased number of people present, I can see where it could affect ones perception of the size of the campground. When you go to Reserve America to make a reservation for a campsite, it does give the size of each... More

Took advantage of some early spring like weather& took a drive to Greenbo Lake. My boyfriend had never been there so wanted to drive him around. He loved the whole area & now cannot wait to make plans for camping, fishing& boating! Definitely won him over!

We camped for a few days to hike the trails and kayak on the lake. The facilities were very nice and clean, and the lake was ideal for paddling since the entire lake is "idle speed only". The trails were great with the fall colors, well marked, and ranged from easy to challenging. Every park staff member that we dealt... More

I camped here in my travel trailer and have quite a bit of experience staying in Kentucky's State parks. The bathroom in the campground was filty and the showerstalls were dirty. It appears that there is no upkeep to keep the painted block walls in the showers clean and free of mold or dirt. The floors were dirty as well.... More

Greenbo is a great park to spend the day with family. There is so much to do and see here. Growing up only living 10 mins away from the park makes me miss it so much now that I am 45 mins away. I still come here to either to take a walk and site see, hike, fish, or go... More

Really enjoyed the drive through the country, roads could stand to be repaved on Rt 1. Enjoyed the old one room school and the old iron furnace ! grounds were kept up good. The lake is of decent size and they have a place where you can scuba dive as well. They rent canoe's , paddle boats, pontoons, kayak's and... More

The lodge is quite large, but the lobby is a little dimly lit. Check-in took only a few minutes and the lady at the desk was very helpful and friendly, giving me advice about several nearby places to see. My room was on the first floor, which was the floor below the main lobby. The door opened from the outside... More

We attended a family reunion in Greenup county and spent two nights in the lodge. The rooms are a little dated but clean. We were awakened in the morning by bird songs. The setting is country peaceful. The wifi was a little cumbersome to use but adequate. Lots of friendly people (a characteristic of rural Kentucky). The lodge dining room... More
