Detailed Reviews
We stayed several nights at the Beaumont Inn while in the area working on genealogy. The property is an old mansion with all the old time charm of an old family home. Our room was very comfortable with a new bathroom and mattress. A southern style breakfast is included with the room and is served in the dinning room which was wonderful. We will stay here again when in the area, highly recommended.

Wonderful stay at the Beaumont Hotel during our Bourbon Tour. Location is great if you want to tour a number of the estates as its in the middle of many of them (about a 45 min drive to most from the hotel). Vintage luxury with beautiful rooms and very helpful and friendly staff. A great breakfast as part of your room rate (full table served breaksfast with fruit, coffee and juices. Hotel was clean. Beds were amazingly comfortable. They don't have an onsite restaurant but there is a pub right next to the hotel called the Old Owl that is in a lovely little spot to relax at the end of the day.
Would recommend.

Beaumont Inn offers 19th century charm in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, the oldest town in the Bluegrass state. Rooms in the inn are charming and historical as well. The inn is centrally located to downtown Harrodsburg and Ft. Harrod.

Ham is 2 years old and tastes like gasoline. Ruins chicken if it touches ham. You can't order chicken without also getting nasty stinky HAM. Fried chicken is small pieces but very juicy and good. Whipped potatoes are excellent. Gravy is excellent but no roll or biscuit to go with it. They offered a bread plate but all bread was toasted to concrete texture. Green beans, slaw and salads are small portions but taste good. Catfish is good but triple thick breading make it too crunchy and can't find fish.

This historic inn was a great place to stay while attending a wedding in the area. The room was very clean with new carpet and a modern bathroom including an excellent shower and great lighting over the lavatory. There are several common areas and a front porch where you can visit with friends. The full breakfast was hot and delicious with good choices for everyone in our family.

We were very happy with every aspect of our stay at the Harrodsburg Inn. We received a warm greeting at check in, everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. We were pleased the Inn has an elevator both to move luggage and spare wear and tear on my wife's knees. We ate at the Old Owl Tavern the night we arrived, and the food was great (try the catfish dinner). Even though it was a busy night service was prompt and attentive. The southern style breakfast the next day was equally as good, and we left full. The area is very quiet and great for walking around and checking out the lovely historic homes and downtown. Would have loved to have stayed another day.

This historic inn is lovely. The breakfast is outstanding and the rooms are comfortable. I enjoy history, so this place was right up my alley. Parking is free and wifi is included. The only reason I rated this stay as "very good" as opposed to "excellent" was the front desk staff. I am sure my experience wasn't the norm, but my reservation booked six months prior was lost as was another room in our party. Luckily, I had called back when I didn't receive a confirmation email, but the other party did receive an email and their room was still not showing up. So I rebooked it for them on my credit card. Due to traffic, I was racing to get to a family event upon arrival and didn't notice my old credit card was holding my room (as in my mind I had just given them the correct card number the night before). My fault, but the main issue was when they called me about it (since no one was on desk when I left early in the morning, even after waiting the 10 minutes the sign said to wait) and I gave the correct number, the lady at the desk said, snarkily in my opinion, that this is why they ask about the cc upon check in. I had already apologized, so I don't know why she had an attitude about it. But, as I said, other than the front desk losing reservations and then the not so nice phone call afterwards, I did enjoy my staff. The breakfast staff was delightful.

A little hard to find after sundown. Really nice people. Breakfast was good. Rooms clean and well appointed. My only suggestion is to place a charging strip for Phones on the nightstand. Beds were comfortable.

+1
A quaint place to stay in Harrodsburg while attending an event held in one of the 3 buildings on the property. I made the reservation online a couple of weeks ahead of the stay, got an email confirming then decided to also call to make sure all was in order. The front desk attendant was friendly and assured me the booking was in place. We quickly checked in on arrival and decided to have a bite to eat in the cozy tavern attached to the pub & main building @ the inn. The service there was quick & friendly as well with a good selection. I had the Chicken liver dinner. It was hot and delicious. Next we took our bags across the street to our room in Goddard Hall. We reserved a room with a queen & foldaway Murphy bed. I found the room spacious & comfortable…. thermostat was set @70° which was comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious and accommodating. The event we attended took place in the 3 rd building on the property in Greystone House.
The beds were comfortable.
When we woke we returned to the Main Inn for the breakfast that was included with lodgings. We explored the inn to find many lovely antiques & decorated beautifully for the Christmas holiday.
I enjoyed the breakfast choices.
A beautiful property with a friendly, helpful staff.
I would definitely stay there again.
