From the warm, friendly greeting to the delicious breakfast, to the professional checkout the staff and facilities were excellent. We chose this Holiday Inn Express hoping for a better breakfast than disappointing one we'd had a Fairfield Inn last October. There was a good variety of tasty options and the area was well organized and maintained; staff seemed to care. The cinnamon rolls were surprisingly good. We liked the way people were directed to form a line instead of the "scramble service" elsewhere. And we appreciate the use of "compostable" paperware instead of plastic. We appreciate posting "Quiet Hours" in the lobby. Our room WAS quiet and comfortable and clean. The room and bathroom offered everything we needed for a comfortable stay; tastefully designed and equipped with microwave and fridge. Most of all, in this era of poor service, all the staff we encountered were friendly, professional and seemed to care about customer service.…

We were very pleased that we ended up staying here for a couple nights while visiting Lexington. This hotel is very convenient to many of the places we wanted to see but not in the congestion of downtown Lexington. There are many places to eat within walking distance...we enjoyed the Firehouse Subs right across the street for one meal and then drove into Lexington to eat at the Columbia Steak House for the other...both were great. The king suites that we got were large, clean and very comfortable! There is a nice work area with internet connection via wifi or Ethernet cable and a comfortable sofa as well. The black out curtains worked great and we heard very little noise...and our room was even directly across the hall from the elevator. The hot complimentary breakfast was very good and the staff was very attentive and courteous. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if we are in the area.…

The room smelt like dirty feet and old carpet. The carpet itself was filthy and was obviously not thoroughly cleaned in awhile. There were pieces of food and other scrap. There was a disgusting "white stain" on the lounge chair that was obviously left by some rambunctious couple. I stayed far away from it. The restroom was broken and could not fully close without some significant strength to lift and close into its hinges. The cleaning staff refused to clean my room because I was still inside my suite! I was working from my suite that day! Some of my towels were placed on the toilet tank. Ugh.The front staff were generally friendly. Thank goodness. Unfortunately I couldn't get a room elsewhere.because of the upcoming horse racing cup. I will never return to a Holiday Inn.

This is a very nice hotel. We use it a lot when traveling to Ohio. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy. The bathrooms are a bit tired with tubs instead of the newer step-in showers and the toilets are very low to the ground. The front desk staff are always polite and very helpful. We ask for specifics when staying, and they are always so accommodating.

Convenient location for some good restaurants and entertainment venues. Hotel was clean and pretty quiet, even though our room was on the highway side of the building. Staff were very friendly and in particular the ladies handling the breakfast service worked very hard. Would definitely stay here again!

This hotel was a little off the freeway but easy to find via a few different roads. It was clean and had very friendly staff. Breakfast area was the best of our 3 hotel weeks vacation. Lots of businesses in walking distances.

The staff was quite accommodating. The room was large and clean. Even though housekeeping did not come in every day, whenever we asked for something, our needs were met immediately. Also, there were quite a few restaurants within walking distance. We would would stay here again if we are ever in the area..

Our room and bathroom were very clean. We were on the top floor (3rd) and so no noise from above, but I do agree with others that the doors closing in the hall were loud. The breakfast was very good with many options. The staff were all very friendly. One thing, they only clean your room every three days unless you request them to clean the night before, so keep that in mind if you need clean towels or coffee pods replaced.

This is a great place to stay. The hotel is clean and is close to Keeneland and the airport. The rooms are spacious. The beds were comfortable to sleep in. The hotel staff is friendly and accommodating. There is one worker named Jon who is excellent at his job! He greets with a smile and really makes you feel welcomed. We have stayed twice and he remembered us from the previous stay. I would recommend this hotel if you were staying in the Lexington area.
