I am a gold elite member. I have spent 25 nights in Marriott properties this year (and it is May 31). I have been gold for 2 years and silver for 7. I know Marriott properties well. This is the smallest room I have ever stayed within the Marriott system (and I have stayed at a Courtyard in Manhattan that I though was really small). When I requested an upgrade due to my gold status, the office clerk told me there was nothing she could do. I explained my room did not have a microwave. She told me that microwaves were only for "elite" rooms implying for "elite" guests. But she told me there was a microwave in the lobby which I could take the elevator to access (more on that later). The receptionist was rude. She was blunt and non welcoming. When I walked in, she said "name"? Wow. I haven't been welcomed like that in a long time. She did not thank me for me status. There is only one working elevator. The waits are long. I don't know why the other elevator is not working. When I finally got on an elevator, an employee of the hotel boarded with me where he hit the second floor from the lobby. Really....you couldn't walk up one flight of stairs. There are cracks on the walls and mold in the tub/shower. In today's electronic environment, there were NO USB hubs in which to plug my phone and electronics. This has been standard practice for at least 10 years now. If you have options for one of the other 5 hotels in this vicinity, I'd take them or find another Marriott property even if it means driving a little farther. Management needs to take control back of this property.

Stayed here a few years ago . We loved it then. … time has NOT been good to this hotel. Won’t stay again. staff were fine. Police in lobby when we checked in dealing with a local who was in the hotel lobby causing a ruckus. Despite being tired, we should have left. Given the worst room EVER ( and I mean EVER in my life !) at check in. Dirty and pungent smell which hit us as we opened the door- a mix of mold and dog pee covered up by a thick perfume. Carpet in room … Gross. Second room with less dog pee smell but same heavy offensive perfume smell. Finally given an “upgrade” to a smaller room with less perfume smell -no dog pee smell- opened window and cleared out the smell. Tiny room which showed hard use. Cracked sink. And then charged for parking ! There is no where else to park. Do not recommend this hotel unless you are traveling with pets. You will not have to worry about messing up the rooms. And better if you cannot smell. There are other choices around the area but they aren’t pet friendly. If you have no pets, stay somewhere else. I expected free parking like most hotels we stayed at this vacation. But it’s not. It’s $5 daily .

We rented the large conference room at the Fairfield to hold my son's medical school graduation party. It was a perfect place to host the party and at a very reasonable price. Rebecca and all of the employees at the Fairfield did their very best to make sure that we had a great experience.

Noisy room, uncomfortable bed. Only one chair in a double room. Free breakfast featuring the usual cereal, eggs, sausage, etc., and WiFi. Not much more to say except the staff were nice, and the location worked for the U of K graduation ceremony.

This is an older but well kept property. Everything was clean. The bedding was in the thinner side. The bathroom was in good shape and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was well appointed and refilled. Would stay here again when in the area.

Good location for visiting Horse farms and tours. I used this hotel for a Thoroughbred farm tour and the location was very convenient. There is a Cracker Barrel across the street and you can drive a few mins for other restaurants. The front office was efficient and the room was clean and linens fresh. Not much about views. The breakfast in the morning was adequate and there was enough for everybody. Parking is free. it is a big plus. Downtown Lexington is about a 10 minute drive as well as University of Kentucky a little bit further down the road.

The hotel room was clean, and the property was quiet. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is just the standard one you’ll see at most hotels in this price range. However, there is a Cracker Barrel right next door. It’s easy access to the interstate as well as to downtown Lexington. The beds were on the firm side for us, and the room could use some USB outlets. We stayed two nights here on this trip, and would stay here again if we were in the area.

I am and have been a loyal Marriott customer for YEARS. I usually always stay at this location while traveling. No more. There was a (was I suppose) a dirty pair of men's black briefs on the closet floor. The mini fridge was unplugged, but when plugged in didn't work. Did they care when notified? You bet NOT. I was told this info would relayed to the Manager., AND if something was going to be done, they "would call me". The original excuse was that housekeeping staff is "well trained" and the closet is "dark inside". How do they think J.W. Marriott would like that response? I'm so DONE.....

We checked into the Fairfield Inn and found the hotel to be very clean with good access to the highway and airport. We enjoyed a nice breakfast and Luis, the Front Desk Manager, visited with us about our stay. We found him to be as cordial and helpful as the other Front desk Rep, Quentin with whom we intereacted for various directions.

Humiliating , horrible and disgusting experience I requested a 4pm check out for being Marriott bonvoy titanium and it was approved, I requested to sleep until 4pm. And nobody could disturb knocking my door. At 11.30 the first knocking " housekeeping", the second one around 1pm " housekeeping" again and I said to this girl that I requested a 4pm check out. I was sleeping until 4.30pm receptionist called me asking if I want to extend, I said yes because I didn't sleep well due to constant disturbing when I requested do not disturb... she said that unfortunately they are sold out. I requested 10 minutes to jump Out of the bed and get my luggage ready. At 4.45pm somebody knocked my door really hard like trying to break the door. I opened and he said that he is the manager and they will charge me half a day extra, I said " please let me explain, I'm a titanium member so I have 4pm check out compulsory" he said " check out is at 12, we can do an exception at 2pm" no, titanium is COMPULSORY 4pm check out and he shout saying " I manage this hotel, not you and u are not gonna tell me how to do it"... I asked him at least 5 times to let me explain why I was in the room at 4.45pm. He was Interrumpting me so I couldn't even speak... he said "we don't need people like you here" I said " I will complaint with Marriott" he said " I don't care at all, complaint all u want but u are not coming back here". Then one housekeeper told me he is the manager because the real manager is on vacations and his name is Suresh ( to recognize him, he sounds like indian) I said " let me explain". And gain interrupting me he did " u shut up or I will charge u the whole day". He was threading me, not even my mother treated me like this in my entire life. I called Marriott bonvoy customer service and the representative was speechless, she said that this is unacceptable and this denigrating behavior will be taken seriously. They refunded the night and they gave me 30.000 points. Shame on Schulte company ( it s not Marriott company, it s franchised) and I hope u guys reading this review don't stay in this disgusting place.
