This place goes all out for you. we had my daughter's wedding there April 14-15. The staff were awesome. I dealt with Scott and Jordan mostly. Scott made sure all our needs for the ballrooms were on point. Jordan behind the desk went out of her way to accommodate everyone in a high stress weekend. Rooms were nice, they got us in our suites early, and the overall attitude of this place is very positive. Great weekend!!

Passing through Lexington, KY on our way home to Florida and booked a last minute room at this Clarion hotel through the Choice hotels app. King suite with double bunk beds fit our families needs perfectly. The two room suite was very spacious and very clean and the a/c worked great. The kids were happy to spend some time at the basketball court and the mini game room. Additionally, The Sports Page restaurant on site was an easy solution to a hungry family traveling all day. Very pleased with this Choice hitel and if we're ever passing through Lexington again this is where we'll stay.

Went with 5 other couples /family. The place has been going down hill for the last several years, but the location is good so we tried it again. We have stayed there on and off for over 20 years, with mixed experiences. This time was the WORST!! My daughter and her husband got a bad room so they moved them, two days later they were told they had to move out of the room they just got. We asked to use the CLOSED bar/breakfast area to play some games, they would not turn on the lights for us. All of us had our own BAD experiences with the rooms and staff. We all finally could not take it any longer checked out forfeiting a full paid night each. NEVER AGAIN will we stay there.

The Clarion hotel Lexington north is a pretty good hotel located right off the Interstate. The beds are very comfortable. The hotel is a little dated but that o me is not a big deal. The restaurant attached to the hotel always looked busy but i did not try it. Breakfast was basic but good. The only downside is therer is not much in the way of restaurants near the hotel.

Smooth check-in and check-out. Close proximity to airport. One of the best complimentary breakfasts we have experienced. Very engaged and attentive staff. Excellent restaurant. Very nice rooms. Convenient bar and lounge area including a snack bar. Large recreation and exercise areas. Staff was particularly responsive to any requests.

Been coming here once a week for about 3 to 4 years and haven't had a complaint on what they do here for me, very friendly and very helpful for what ever you need from the front desk to the bartender to the manager's. Wouldn't stay anywhere else

Room with mold on walls, dirty, bathroom filthy, bench in room filthy. Window very dirty with locks unlocked upon entry. Very dirty and unsafe and unhealthy. Do not recommend. No one should stay in these conditions.

My wife and I stayed from Tuesday july 19th until Saturday July 23rd, and I must say I doubt we will stay here again when we come back to Lexington in September. The hotel is in a good location, right off of the interstate, and many attractions in Lexington are close by. The main problem was that we arrived on the 19th at approximately 7 p.m. and when we checked in to our room, my wife noticed that the bathroom was dirty, hair on sink and floor. That being said, we retired for the night and got up early the next day, and when we went for our breakfast which by the way is the best thing about this hotel, the cleaning crew was just outside of our room so we decided to tell them that they did not have to clean our room that day, they said ok. Now the next day when we left our room, we again saw the cleaning crew in our hallway and asked them if the could please clean our room on Wednesday, they said ok, Well when we came back that night our room was never touched. Thursday morning, my wife went to the front desk and complained about it and they credited us for one nights stay, so again when we left in the morning the cleaning crew had their carts in the hall but they were no where in sight, so I went to the front desk and asked the attendant if she could make sure to let the cleaning crew know to clean our room and she sent them a text while I was there, to get our room cleaned, well guess what, when we came back at night, again our room was never touched, so this is now three days of not getting cleaned, so I guess it is 3 strikes and you are out. IF YOU WANT CLEAN ROOMS, DO NOT STAY HERE, pay a little more and stay at a good property, I guess you get what you pay for.…

Once upon a time, this was a grand hotel with style and decent service…not anymore. Rooms and hallways are hot, stuffy and smell of mildew and mold…sometimes they’re not hot in the room, as long as the air conditioner works in the room. I put items in my television stand drawer and they reeked of mildew when taken out to wear. Bugs are a problem in rooms, and the wifi signal doesn’t work…connects on your device but has slow to non existent connection to the internet. Not a single vending machine in the entire hotel has any items for sale…and there are many. They’re not even plugged in. Several ice machines also non working. Hallways are hot and had mold visible on the ceilings. The windows in the room are designed to be slid open for fresh air but have been fixed by the hotel to not open and can’t even be cracked for a breeze without a screwdriver to remove the device blocking it. The Sedona Taphouse restaurant is brand new and HORRIBLY overpriced, service is super slow and if you read the menu, you will be left wondering what it is you are actually ordering from the descriptions given. What I ordered tasted fine once I actually got it…waitress was also preparing the food and all alone serving. The Sports Tap has good food and is very reasonably priced, however, they have ONE MAN tending both the bar and serving the decently sized restaurant. He is friendly and does a good job considering the terrible hand he has been dealt here. Housekeeping is sparse and there are very few of them working for such a large place…It is very sad that the few loyal employees who work hard with very little resources provided to them are treated so poorly by their place of work. Front desk is sparsely staffed and hard to get anyone on the phone at any time of day. There are people there but they are few and overworked. Luggage carts are few and in need of repair. Hard to get clean towels and wash cloths, staff indicated that laundry machines were broken. Not a good stay at all!…

This hotel is a dump! Used to be very nice, but it has gone so far down hill. Started when I walked in and the front desk lady without even acknowledging my existence, simply said, “you’ll have to wait while I count my drawer” then I had to stand there tired and sleepy from a long day and drive, and wait a small eternity for her to count all her money. Meanwhile, I’m watching put of the corner of my eye, the 3 random people who looked as though they were planning to commit a crime, who were just sitting around the front desk area. No clue what they were doing, but it was definitely nefarious. This is absolutely relevant to my travel experience because it caused undue stress and fear, making my stay less comfortable. Then another lady brings in the hotel’s new security guard, introduces him to the desk lady, he sticks his hand out to shake and says nice to meet you, she doesn’t even acknowledge he’s there or that he spoke to her. After an awkward moment of silence, he just walks away. Then we finally get in our room. Dirty carpet, couch was stained and pull out bed was a joke! Wouldn’t even stay a bed, kept falling apart so my teenager had to sleep on the tiny stained couch. But it gets worse, the AC wouldn’t get cold for anything! We turned it as low as it would go and fan on high. All night long the compressor would only run a few minutes, then it would just blow room temperature air. So then about 8:30 am, our door slams open. Housekeeping. No knock, no warning, just a slamming door into the wall lock. Go get in the shower, the best western soaps on the shower wall are empty. Get out of the shower to get dressed, about 10:30, door slams open again. I yell out, “you’ve got to be kidding me!” They slam door and rush away again. Then as I’m leaving, I walk in the business room to print a document. I follow the print instructions, they don’t work. I go ask the front desk and they say, “oh yeah, nothing in there works”. This place is garbage. And if you value your life and sanity, you’ll find somewhere else to stay.…
