This was my first time at a Home2 Suites. Enjoyed my stay, staff was great. They have a liquid soap in the shower attached to the wall but I prefer a bar soap. I found myself moving it from sink to shower a couple of times a day. Would of liked 2 bars.

Stayed one night in a 1K 1BR suite, with a dog. Loved the room layout. Having the bedroom further back from the hallway reduced noise and helped with sleeping. Front desk staff was extremely cordial, helpful, and informative -- very professional! We would definitely stay here again when in Lexington.

The hotel was pretty easy to find and many options for dining are just a few minutes away. Parking was plentiful but it was challenging to have to park in the rear of the hotel when the elevators are near the front.
Our room appeared clean overall, but the light-colored upholstery on the couch had some stains which made the room seem unclean. The binder with information in the room implied there was still light daily housekeeping but apparently this has changed since the pandemic. The barn-style door for the bathroom had some water damage and was a challenge to open and close.
When we arrived, we used a digital key but had some issues with it on some communal areas, including the elevator, so we requested plastic keys, and the front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast options were mostly grab and go. My husband was disappointed there were not any bacon sandwich options, but I thought there was a good variety. There were also several cereals, yogurts, fruit, and breads. The gentleman that was staffing the area each morning during our stay was very helpful and friendly, and ensured the area was well tended. We used the pool on Saturday evening and it seemed clean and the temperature was pleasant.
At first, the hotel seemed very secure as even the elevator required a key to go up. (My husband viewed this as a red flag.) However, the rear door to the parking lot was unsecured for most of our stay and I was planning to report it at checkout. However, a gentleman was repairing it Sunday when I was loading the car to leave.
Leaving was problematic as there were apparently only two carts for the entire hotel so we had time drag out stuff out to the car in multiple trips. I observed and interacted with the highest number of housekeeping personnel on the day we left. Some were not friendly and one seemed very disengaged from her work.
Checking out was easy on the app.
Pros: Convenience of location, size of room, comfort of bed and HVAC system, front desk staff
Cons: Issues with building layout, stains on furniture in room, unfriendliness of some support staff, door unlocked from the rear of the building for most of our stay

We had very mixed feelings about this hotel. We normally stay at Embassy Suites, Lexington Green but with UK homecoming and Keeneland Fall season opening, we could only book this facility.
Pros:
—Super friendly staff
—Digital check-in/out & ability to use smart phone as digital key
—Large, quiet room with great kitchenette
—Comfortable bed and pillows
—Adjacent to a Trader Joe’s
Cons:
—Substandard breakfast even for a lower level Hilton. We understand every hotel has had to make concessions for COVID but the protein meals such as omelets, egg sandwiches, etc, were wrapped in plastic and heated by a server in the microwave still wrapped in plastic. Oatmeal was instant premix (ie lots of sugar). No toast; only bagels or waffles. The coffee was truly horrible (weak & tasteless) so I tried tea but the “hot water” was so tepid, my tea wouldn’t brew. I ended up buying instant Starbuck’s coffee packets just to have a decent cup. I also bought breakfast items at the Trader Joe’s next door & ate in the room. Other Hilton properties (e.g. Hampton) are now offering fresh omelets, old-fashioned oats freshly prepared, freshly cooked sausages, etc.
—Stained sofa and I mean really stained.
—We were fine with no maid service while we stayed for three days but then ample towels should have been put in the room. There was one bath towel & one hand towel each. Yes, we could ask for more but why should we have to?
—The kitchenette was great & had all dishes one could need for a short stay as well as dishwashing detergent….but no dishcloth or sponge and no dish towels.
—Some of the bathroom could have used updating. There was a little mold in the corner of the shower; there was rust on toilet water fixtures.
—No information on the TV such as channel line-up, channel guide, or even what service it was. There was information in the room regarding local restaurants, etc. it nothing about the TV.
I don’t think we will stay at this Hilton brand again. Overall, it just wasn’t up to par with others.

Great central location. Great mall right down the road along with many restaurants nearby. Trader Joe’s right next to the hotel. The actual room was really nice, roomy, and comfortable. The kitchenette was awesome with real dishes, microwave, dishwasher & full fridge. Large desk. Large tv, couch, comfortable bed. Now… for the reason for 3 star rating… dogs barking all the time (in nearby rooms) I had to call the lobby to report. Breakfast was garbage. Coffee terrible at the breakfast area & in the room. The shower dripped horribly & I had to put a towel underneath it. It was clean & good otherwise. Only ONE person works so there is no bringing you anything when you call, ie coffee packet for the morning. When I checked in a person was “ negotiating” with the front desk person with the registration person saying “I can’t do the $40/night any more” … huh?! My room was $171/night. Wtf. When I checked out (at 7:20am), the front desk person was as rude as could be and had her things on the desk ready to bolt at any moment. Just so unprofessional. I’m not sure I would stay here again just for those reasons. However the room was great if you can live with those other reasons.

We have stayed at numerous Home2 Suites and this definitely ranks at the bottom. Upon arrival, the front desk lady was less than welcoming. She ran my husbands debit card and said it was declined. His works fine so she clearly put the number or exp in wrong or something but just handed it back and said it’s declined, never offering to run again. I gave her mine from same account and it worked fine. She never told us how to access wifi, never said anything about breakfast or anything about the hotel like they typically do when you arrive. What looked to be wetted paper towels had been put around the smoke detector then dried. The bed sunk in the middle, the pillows need to be replaced and the couch was stained and dirty looking. Their were cobwebs on the wall light fixture. We were, however, greeted very friendly the next morning going to breakfast and they had a nice selection to choose from and a nice man heated our food. For reference: we were in room 320.

Rcbkedge- Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review of our hotel. We appreciate your business and are deeply sorry that we did not meet your expectations or ours for that matter. A warm welcome is key to any hotel experience and I will follow up with my team regarding handling declined cards. Additionally, I am going to have my housekeeping team and engineering team take a look at the fixtures that were dirty and damaged. I wanted to let you know we are in the process of replacing many of our soft goods like our pillows, mattress, and couches over the next year. We also appreciate the positive comments you provided about our breakfast and breakfast attendants. If you have any further comments feel free to call the hotel directly and ask for me. Thank you again for your feedback and I hope that we get a chance to serve you again in the future.

If you just need a place to stay for the night then this hotel is for you. Very safe and secure. Staff was very nice. We were expecting our normal Hilton experience but that was not met here. Cleaning was not important here. There was not a seal on door that room was even cleaned. No clean wraps on remotes. Spots on carpet and couches. Upon arrival had to beg for towels and pillows ( rooms only had enough for 2 people and we had a group). We had a few younger people sleeping on pull out couches but linen was not in its normal “clean” sealed bag. No pillow cases either. Probably was clean but just not assuring. We stayed at other hotels as part of our long trip, Hampton inns, they had hot buffet breakfast at all of those. This hotel just had a grab and go brown bag breakfast. But I guess something is better than nothing. The luggage carts were very strange. Shaped more like a golf bag cart. For a group this was not convenient.

andrerson123- Thank you so much for taking the time to leaving us a review. We appreciate your business and feedback. We have taken your comments seriously. I am sorry we feel short of our standards and more importantly yours. After reviewing your comments we have made sure that we have plenty of the seals and wraps on hand available to provide that extra assurance of cleanliness. Our housekeeping team has also gone through a re-training of our cleaning standards for the rooms and the public spaces. If you have any further comments or concerns please feel free to reach out.

Before you choose this location, if you are interested in utilizing the heated pool, I suggest you call in advance to ensure the pool is actually heated. Upon check-in, we were informed that the pool was closed due to the water being too cold. Very dissappointing being I chose this location specifically for the heated pool. Location is great, close to alot!

Things have gone downhill from previous 2 visits. Dog hair all over sofa, greasy fingerprints on mirror and tv, no shower curtain, dishes were in the dishwasher dirty, no lights working on bathroom vanity. Pool closed due to corona virus but workout room was available. Was told the GM was coming in 30 minutes from turning in my key and checking out.. When I checked out, no GM to speak to. If they do not comp our stay or do something to make it right then we will not be back. Housekeeping totally disregarded their job and dropped the ball. Told lady at desk that there is no way that room should have been issued to us without being checked.

Yes it was open. This was a great location with plenty of places to eat and shop!
We were there recently for 11 days and did not see a shuttle vehicle. You should call the hotel front desk to determine availability.
