This was our second favorite Marriot on our road trip. I like how they had the bedroom sectioned away from the living room and sofa bed. The check-in was simple and easy. The night manager was a helpful young lady. It was an enjoyable stay.

Not a pleasant experience at all. We are frequent visitors of this type of hotel, courtyard, residence, Fairfield etc but this was awful. First, the location is dangerous and all of the doors are on the outside so my comfort level was low. We are platinum members and at check in they had no water and were rude about it. We requested an upgrade via our account with a suite night, didn’t get it but could see a king available on line that they did not want to honor(we booked a queen as that was what was available at the time) . The room smelled terrible, like some kind of chemical, the soap dispenser was on the floor in the shower and the carpet was wet in spots not making me feel real good about why. Nope, never again. As a side note, my husband walked next door to the courtyard and said it was lovely.

I travel often for work, usually on an average of 200 nights a year. This Hotel was nasty: Fleas, Gnats, Spiders...The manger Chris nor the GM Jessica did anything to correct the issue, they never sent the exterminator, they claim Orkin was not answering the phone. I TRUELY BELIEVE MANAGEMENT IS RACIST, and did nothing about my complaint because I am black!!

I must say the hotel was clean. However room needed an update. The most disappointing item for my husband was breakfast. Nothing fresh. No toast bagels or waffles There was a pre made egg sandwich and a pre made egg white omelette. Pool looked nice but not an umbrella in sight and it was 95 degrees and sunny.

We’ve stayed at several Residence Inn locations on our current trip and we found the Lexington North location to be just a little below the usual standard. Room size with two queens was fine with a separate sofa area. There were TVs in both the bedroom area and sofa area. The sink was outside the commode/tub area, making it easier for multiple people to get ready. The kitchen was equipped with a full stove/oven - not something you find at every Residence Inn. Internet connectivity was fine. Our beds were right on the border of average and uncomfortable. The 7 buildings are all two story with no elevator, so be sure to request a bottom floor room if you can’t or don’t want to bring your belongings up the stairs. The outdoor pool was quite nice. There is also a combination volleyball/half court basketball court with a rubber flooring over the old concrete. The fitness center contained only one treadmill and one elliptical. Breakfast is served upstairs over the office (there is an elevator there). At some properties breakfast has been rolled back due to COVID, but I got the impression that here the breakfast was normal because there were serving trays of eggs, meats, and biscuits. If this was indeed the normal breakfast, I would rate it far below other RI locations. There was only one coffee pot and it was lukewarm when we ate. We experienced a bad housekeeping oversight in that 2 of our towels had hair in them indicating they hadn’t been cleaned or hadn’t been checked thoroughly after cleaning. The tub was leaky and had stained the bottom. So, I didn’t hate the hotel, but I’m sure there are better places to stay in the Lexington area.

This was a hotel booked by my company, as I was staying in Lexington for over a month to complete a work assignment. This is not an average hotel. This is more of a hybrid of hotel/long term stays/pseudo-apartment complex. I compared it to the idea of "where dad goes to stay when mom decides to divorce him." The outside could use some work (peeling paint, rusting fixtures), but it's not decrepit or anything. The rooms aren't fancy, but they are spacious and clean. Honestly, for a short term stay, this room is too much. But if you're staying for a while, it's nice to have a full fridge, a place to eat. There is even a dishwasher with a full set of dishes. Housekeeping is thorough and always did a good job. They only fully cleaned the rooms once per week while I was there due to COVID 19, but they were always available for special needs. Generally, you're on your own taking your trash out, but the dumpsters are right out back. Lot of closet and storage space/drawers. The bed isn’t the best or worst I’ve slept on. Basic king that was a little stiff for my taste. There is a flat screen TV, but they are older and need replacing soon--at least mine did. There were three lines running down mine any time the color was dark or black, and it couldn't handle 4K content from Netflix, but it did have amazon and Netflix access. They have a pool, but it was closed due to COVID 19. They also have a laundry room and a basketball court. The WiFi works pretty well, and the premium is free of charge if you're Marriott gold and above. The staff were all super nice and super helpful, they would get five stars. This is not in the main part of Lexington. It's on the more industrial part of town (I was doing work for Amazon and the site was located there). It's not within walking distance of downtown, but it's within a few miles. It is close to the interstate. This part of town isn't particularly savory. I never felt unsafe, but wouldn't tempt fate by leaving valuables in my car or anything! If you're looking for a true vacation and want to be right in the action, this is probably not your place. But if you need basic digs and will be in the area a while, this isn't bad, and is pretty affordable. Again, the staff absolutely great. Five stars for them.

Per the other reviews, I wasn't expecting too much. However, this hotel was amazing. The exterior is well worn but the rooms look to be recently renovated and were very clean and tidy. I really appreciated how the housekeepers washed all of the dishes and left them in the washer so that you knew everything was sanitzed. Awesome touch! We really appreciated the exterior entrances to our room and the small patio with the sliding glass door really opened the room. There is even a field behind the hotel in which our kids were able to run out their traveling jitters. This was the best hotel to social distance from others and to get a good night's sleep The next time we travel to Lexington we will definitely stay here. Great stay!! :-)

We stayed twice during the last week. We noted that the grounds and exterior of the property were neglected. There were cigarette butts in the mulch and landscaping, litter on the property, and a car missing a wheel in the parking lot. The garbage disposal in our first room did not work and there were grapes in it. Someone came and did repair it. The floor needed vacuuming along the edge of the baseboard, with bits of dirt or mulch visible. We were told there was a grab and go breakfast which we expected due to COVID-19. The "fruit cup" was a sealed container of mandarin oranges, like a school lunch container. The pastry was a run of the mill frozen pastry, a la Costco. We did not get a bag breakfast on the other days. When we returned for one night, the desk clerk was involved in a complex phone call about a reservation two months in advance. She continued talking on the phone, putting another person on hold, with us in the lobby and a lady waiting her turn outside. We waited about 15 minutes before she checked us in. The rooms were spacious and modern.

We stopped in early June. We’d never stopped at a Residence Inn. We were pleasantly surprised at the amenities & size of the rooms. The room had a definite odor from previously fried food. A little Lysol spray would have been a big help. The beds were the most comfortable we’ve experienced in many years of travel. The biggest issue we had was the dirty shower curtain. Both the curtain & liner were visibly dirty. The check in & check out were easy.
