No one to greet us & we walked around aimlessly for 45min until bumping into someone. Did not expect for our room to be given away, which was picked out only because I wanted the experience to stay in that historic room. We were moved out to the carriage house, which they said was just renovated. The bathtub was filthy,...

We welcome feedback, finding it unusual to see this review/entry in January for a stay? last March. If you were here, called with eta as requested and told us about any complaint, we would remediate it immediately. The Carriage House is a favorite. Ky Derby guests love the ambience, private entrances & covered porches plus the individual kitchenettes, bathrooms and...

This historic farmhouse (more than 200 years old) was a welcome retreat during a busy trip to Louisville in October. We could enjoy imagining its gracious past without having to give up any of our modern comforts. Cynthia has created a wonderful place to stay while preserving a part of Louisville history. She is deeply knowledgeable about the entire area...

Thank you for staying with us for the 2014 Run Foe The Roses! We enjoyed reading of your appreciation of this award winning renovation of this national historic landmark. Two books and other publications in 2014 feature The Bashford Manor. This year looks ahead as a movie location. Thank you for this opportunity to respond.

There is so much history associated with the Bashford Manor Bed and Breakfast. So enjoyed meeting Cynthia and learning about her journey with the Bray Farm which is now the Bashford Manor Bed and Breakfast. Wonderful breakfasts. We had a wonderful stay, even extended our stay.

Stayed at this B&B in June, our first time, and it was perfect! Privacy, beautiful accommodations, delicious breakfast, entertaining host, and minutes from the eclectic Bardstown Road. We will definitely make another stop at Bashford Manor.

I love to stay in B&B's, but when I can stay in one with such history it is a real treat. The Bashford Manor is just such a place. There are so many little nooks and crannies to wander around, the grounds are lovely and I mean if it was good enough for Abe Lincoln, well that works for me....

We stayed here for 2 nights in August while attending the PGA Championship. We stayed in the West suite. We have stayed in quite a few B & B's over the years and looked forward to staying in another during our stay in Louisville. Unfortunately what we experienced was not what most of the reviewers for TripAdvisor have experienced. The...

We stayed here for 3 nights during the PGA Golf championship. What a beautiful, historical oasis in Louisville. The grounds and gardens of Bashford Manor are so nice and the white horses (not real of course!) are a fun addition. We stayed in the Jane Austen library suite. It is very large and comfortable. Catherine is a wonderful, knowledgeable hostess...

We stayed here for 6 nights in June on vacation to visit numerous local attractions, hit the bourbon trail, and visit Churchill Downs. The location couldn't have been better, 15 minutes to downtown, 5 minutes to shops and food, quiet neighborhood. The building is charming, and considering how old it really is, it is in great condition. Most rooms available...
