Being from Louisville we take great pride in our historic hotels. We spent a weekend here and everyone on the staff was awesome and very friendly. Our room was beautiful. If you get a chance please take time to order the famous Hot Brown for dinner. No one does it like the Brown.

Staying at the Brown Hotel was a wonderful experience. It was like stepping back in time & experiencing the grandeur of the 1920's with modern conveniences. The entire staff was extremely helpful & courteous. The hotel is located within walking distance to many attractions in Louisville & has an attached parking garage.to protect the visitors from the elements entering and...

Stay on the 13th floor, club level, if you can. The club lounge included breakfast & happy hour drinks/appetizers. It was great to be able to have a quick bite in the morning! The room was nice, however I was surprised that the bathrooms do not have any vents/fans.

Being from Louisville, I take great pride in our history and Southern Hospitality. The Brown Hotel is a reflection of both. Each year we hold our Spring Sales meeting at the hotel and the hotel staff is not only very welcoming and accommodating but makes us feel like family. The hotel is absolutely beautiful with historic detail and charm. Our...

Kind of a mainstay hotel in Louisville dating back to the 1920's. There is definitely a period feel of an historic hotel. Facilities are well kept. Staff was awesome even letting me "borrow" a couple of items for the evening which I had neglected to pack. Enjoyed the signature sandwich - the "Hot Brown" in the lobby bar area -...

Dear UTCFan, Thank you for taking the time to write about your visit. Pleased to hear you enjoyed our famous Hot Brown, which brings guests from miles away. Thanks for noting our large guest rooms, which are big for an historic hotel. When The Brown opened in 1923 we had 700 rooms. A later renovation enlarged the rooms, to where...

we spent one night in Louisville on a KY tour with South Carolina friends that took us from Berea to Keenland with several stops on the Bourbon Trail. As former residents of Louisville we could not pass up the opportunity to visit and of course spend a night at the Brown. The lobby bar on Saturday was busy but the...

The Brown Hotel and their staff were warm and welcoming. From the minute you step into the hotel you felt like you were at home. I hosted a business meeting and my clients were impressed by the level of quality and service provided by the staff. Having the opportunity to work one-on-one with the events and banquet coordinator, I can...

The Brown Hotel was wonderful to work with and the facilities were all great. The staff was very helpful in all areas which resulted in one of our best meetings. Although the hotel has been around a long time the facilities are very up to date but the old hotel elegance is kept in tact.

My client selected this hotel for a weekend workshop. As you can imagine employees are never to excited to attend a weekend workshop anyway. However, the hotel was a wonderful treat for all. The ambiance, the location for getting out at night, the delicious food and most importantly the staff that worked our private dinners and lunches were absolutely fantastic....

Fantastic hotel experience across the board! From check-in to room to cleanliness, this is a superb hotel. Elected to dine in the Lobby Bar, instead of the English Grille, and the food was outstanding...in fact, the only thing better was out service. We were pampered, yet never rushed nor hovered over. It was a terrific end to our day on...
