The hotel was lovely and the room was nice. You could tell it was an older hotel but the building was truly a site to see. The bathroom was smaller then most hotels but suited me fine. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were very professional and very nice. My only complaint was the parking situation. Trying to even...

Very interesting informative and entertaining hotel. From the moment you walk in you feel the nostalgic history from settings of Gatsby and Al Capone. Had a tour of the property from Patrick late night and was able to see the rathskeller, the garden area, the presidential suite and so much more. Larry who has been there forever and a day...

This hotel is absolutely beautiful with so much history and many stories to offer! The staff are wonderful, kind and always willing to go above and beyond to help out with any needs. The food at Gatsby on Fourth and the Old Seelbach Bar was fantastic, and the drinks were wonderful! The rooms are a great size, and offer comfortable...

If you are looking for a hotel with all of the modern amenities, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for character and class, this is the place for you. Imagine a place where the staff members have manners. The standard rooms are smallish, sure. The countertop in the bathroom has limited space, fine. The bed...

Dear Huck K. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience with us. We are quite proud of our grand, 112 year old hotel. Stayed at the Seelbach briefly a few years earlier so decided to head back for a weekend visit. Nice historic property close to a variety of restaurants and a dedicated pedestrian area. Staff was attentive and friendly. A short drive to city attractions.

I just don't feel this place is worth the price they charge. I realize that you're more or less paying for a name, but you would think that for the price paid they would offer free breakfast on all floors of the hotel and include parking with the prices. There was nothing special about the room that I reserved, 1...

Best thing is the location, everything else is sub par. The shower leaked. The accesibility was ridiculous, having to walk around the block and backwards down narrow one way tunnels from a parking garage. Hotel guests have to pay for their own parking, which was 18 and valet was 27. If you own a vehicle over 6ft1 don't drive it...

Very well pleased and large rooms made it welcoming. Beautiful entry was very impressive. Location excellent as we walked everywhere we wanted to go or took a short cab ride. Would highly recommend and will return in the future.

We went to Louisville to celebrate my birthday. The Seelbach is a beautiful hotel and the staff are wonderful. It's in a great location to walk all over downtown to visit the river, various sites, shops, and great restaurants.

This is an older hotel that has the old charm but upgraded enough to have all of the amenities you would expect today. The location in downtown Louisville is perfect for accessing all the bars and restaurants downtown.
