The pictures bellow shows you what you get for $182 before tax. Hilton should be ashamed of themselves! This hotel is not the only one that is going downhills lately. Besides the shabby and trashed rooms the breakfast is as bad - there was only one person working with many guests. The juice machine was out of order, no water, some liquid resembling oj was in two pitchers, emptied in 5 min and not filled up. No one at receptions smiles, kids running amok after 10:30 pm, it was a horrible experience. We’ve been visiting Madisonville, KY and staying in this hotel quite a few times because family lives in the area. It was nice, new and clean but it got ruined fast. I guess the management doesn’t care about maintenance.
You can’t go wrong staying at a Hampton. We never stay anywhere but a Hampton when traveling. Whether you get a hot buffet or grab and go it’s fresh and tasty. My family, being my husband and I always enjoy our stay because we know it will be a clean comfortable and always friendly environment.
My father in law had a limb amputation and lost his wife within a few weeks of each other. We came in from out of state for a 5 day stay. 3 days were bereavement and the other days we could stay if we worked remotely then spent the evening with him taking care of him. Hampton Inn was the mot expensive hotel in Madisonville by at least $35, but we chose it believing it would be a good place as a result. The night we arrived I tried to log on for work and found that Wifi is not free. You had to sign up for "Hilton Honors" to get it, by providing your email, phone number, etc. I set up a Hilton Honors account only to be told that the Wifi provided for free was of a high enough quality to check emails and such, and if we wanted the work grade wifi quality we would need to pay an extra $5. Already tapped out by spending $835 for 5 nights (unrefundable) spending an extra $40 for Wifi, a basic commodity provided by free by McDonalds and Starbucks, seems greedy. I will never stay in any Hilton establishment again. I now have to go work from my father in law's cluttered house with barking dogs in the background while I try to conduct Zoom meetings . You guys made a bad situation worse for us.…
Hotel had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Rooms were clean and hotel staff exceeded expectations! Hotel is located in an easy to access area while still quite and peaceful. Will be staying again next time we are in town to visit family.
I got in late and came to the room and found headfulls of other people's hair on the bathroom floor. It wasnt just hair from someone's head. NASTY. I called the manager who offered to come to clean the room herself, the next day. Absurd. I travel with wipes to clean basic surfaces but I never should have had to be on the floor, picking up uairs and cleaning the floor, and the rest of the bathroom. it was clear other parts of the room were also not clean. IN the morning before checking out I gave all the hairs in tissues and wipes to the manager. I was told that they werent going to charge me for the room which did nothing for ME as I was being hosted by someone else and I am the one who was afraid to take off my socks. I didnt even check if I got my Honors points. Did canceling out the bill also eliminate my points? The truth is they should have given me 100,000 points. THis goes down as one of the most disgusting hotel experiences I have ever had as a Gold Honors Member and Titanium Marriott member. Disgusting.…
The restroom toilet had urine on the toilet seat and the shower had hair in it, the molding in my room was also coming off the wall, the ice machine on my floor was not working, I was staying on the third floor I feel like there should have been at least a sign on the door it was out of order
The room was an average Hampton Inn room with the exception of the mattress. Very cheap and uncomfortable. Not the usual quality of a Hampton Inn. Everything else was good. For the money you can stay where they have a better quality sleep
Good location. Clean and quiet. Restaurants nearby. Lots of sanitizers. Staff cleaned breakfast area quickly. Staff all had masks around their necks. But not one used it. Disappointed. They are to protect me me If they don’t feel the need. I checked in with my mask due to serious health concerns. The front desk person was polite and kind but did not honor me by pulling it up. Been to a lot of other chains in the last year and felt more valued. Hampton had been my first go to.
From check in to check out, it was a great experience! Very friendly and helpful staff!! The breakfast was amazing, fresh, and served with a smile. The pool was large and accommodated us well! We will definitely stay here again in the future!
Not very pleased with this stay. First digital key was not available, then elevator was out, side door didn’t work and smoke alarm was beeping at 2 am. I have stayed at several hamptons and this one was not very good.
