Basic room, just to sleep in while visiting family for a memorial service. Got in on third of 8 night stay, found cockroach. And you know if there’s one, there’s more. Immediately went to check out, and they would not credit that day, although we’d left room in am, and not been in it all day. When I explained to manager that I hadn’t planned on posting anything, but was thinking of changing my mind without the credit, he said go ahead. So here you are. Cockroaches in this establishment, and will never stay again.

This is the only decent hotel around and yet the only Hotel we’ve stayed in anywhere for years that has no exercise equipment. They used to have a coupon so we could go to a nearby gym for free but they haven’t had it for a few years. If there was another decent place to stay with a gym, we wouldn’t stay here.

Was traveling across country with my daughter and her service dog. Stopped here because we needed a break from the road. Paid cash and told the desk clerk who couldn't speak clear English that we did have a dog with us. Got in the shower within 5 minutes of getting to room and started hearing pounding on the door. My daughter was not capable of answering it and it continued for 20 minutes until I got out of the shower (which had very little water pressure and lacked hot water) and the police are pounding on the door! Told me the property manager wanted me to vacate the property because I didn't rent a "pet room". Advised me to talk to the manager and work something out and admitted that he (the officer) thought it was ridiculous that they treated customers this way. I went to office and tried to speak to the desk clerk but he acted like he didn't understand. Property manager would not come out from his room behind the counter. Asked for a refund since they weren't willing to accommodate us and his reply was "What for?" I got on the phone to call the police and he already had them dialed up to come escort us off the property. Would not give me a receipt or even show me the receipt where he tried to say I signed something that said no pets! They clearly advertise PETS ALLOWED! So lost $50 cash and when I reported it to Booking.com, they said they could not do anything because the hotel had involved the police. Obviously this is their general practice and they know they can steal money from cash paying customers! This place needs shut down and the manager/clerk need put in jail or sent back to their own land!

The breakfast should not be advertized. Fruit loops, gal of milk, loaf of white bread, luke warm coffee, and a bottle of orange juice in frig. Found spider in bed, big black bug on ceiling and a stink-bug on the window. Door had light shining thru when it did not seal shut when closed. I could not put my breathing machine on the floor as it drew in the most obnoxious smell.

if ever visiting Princeton Kentucky stay away from the Americas Best Value Inn The management does not know the meaning of the word hospitality they have been rude with both my wife and I denied us enough towels griped about trash sitting in front of the door without regard of the fact that there are no receptacles advertise a hot breakfast knowing they don't have one not to mention that they have bugs and they went through our belongings while we were at work real pieces of crap these patels are

The odor in the entry area was not great. The sight of the set up for the free breakfast next to the reception desk was very unappealing. Please, how old is that cereal in those dispensers? The orange juice and milk were in a glass fronted frig - the only things in it, and each of them nearly empty. I don't eat breakfast, but the breakfast set up almost made me lose my appetite for dinner. The inside handle on our room door was broken. It just came off in our hands. We had to re-attach it each time to be able to open the door. The bath was so small that if the bath mat was on the floor you couldn't shut the bathroom door. The TV remote didn't want to function consistently. When we checked out I told the person at reception that the handle was broken. She said, "Oh, okay" not "I'm sorry about that." Not a great advertisement for this chain.

The location was convenient for our road trip and the price was good. It is more like a 1.5 star motel. The photos make it look nice but there were details that need attention. Primarily the carpet and the towels. Carpet was sticky so shoes were required. Towels were dingy and rough and should be replaced. Bed and shower were ok and met our needs. TV was ok. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was minimal and needs fruit and yogurt. Room was quiet and first floor parking was very nice with wide spaces. We might stay here again but hope they make the suggested improvements.

I’ve been visiting this hotel for about 1.5 years, probably at least 30 times overall—with my partner, and sometimes with kids. Don’t let looks fool you—it can seem a little outdated from the outside, but every room is meticulously clean, smells great, and if there’s ever a problem, the staff is always more than helpful and willing to fix the situation. It is family owned and operated, and we have fallen in love with everything about this place! We often drive up to an hour out of our way just to stay here, if we are looking for a hotel. Every room is a little different, and the family is very wonderful and pleasant!

We stayed here because our original hotel we booked could not honor our reservation. It was barely adequate. Out of the way. Bare bones. The person at the desk was nice. Room was clean. Low price. When I put address into GPS, it took us to the wrong place.
