Stayed here 2 nights while attending a wedding in the Red Gorge. Rustic lodge that overlooks HoeDown Island, lots of trees and wildlife abound with trails all over this state park property. Our room was comfortable with standard linens, coffeemaker and TV. There is NO fridge or microwave so bring a cooler if you need to keep something cold. We...

The location is the best for either Natural Bridge Park or the Red River Gorge. Comfortable bed. Everything was clean. Wi-Fi, and TV. Wonderful balcony overlooking ravine provides a special place for end of day relaxation or morning tea. A great restaurant is on premises. If you are honeymooning or picky about your room, you might give the place 1...

We dined at this restaurant for dinner and breakfast. My husband had from the buffet for dinner (Which was ok) and I ordered from the menu. My Hot Brown was very hot and good. The next morning I ordered from the menu and had blueberry pancakes that were delicious too.

This was our second trip to the lodge. It's a great place to stay when you're in the Red River Gorge area and you don't feel like camping. We try to visit 'out of season' to avoid the crowds. We were there in late October and it was a beautiful time of year. We would highly recommend the lodge. The...

The location of the hotel is great! Walk out of the hotel & the trail is right there to covered bridge. It's inexpensive so you will get what your paying for. When you first walk in the room it looks nice. Unfortunitly housekeeping & maintenance is not doing their job very well. There was dirt on the floor by the...

On my 9 day trip this was my second state park hotel that I stayed at for two nights. This one had a wonderful big window overlooking the trees and a patio. The room was very clean (compared to the first state park resort I stayed at) and no smells. The buffet was very good (again much better than the...

The price was right and the room was great. Nice patio and screen door so we could leave the door open all night. The patio had privacy screens but noisy neighbors or nearby smokers could be bothersome. Room was clean and air handling worked fine. Nice flat-screen TV and good WiFi. The only downside was the lack of an in-room...

I recommend making an overnight trip to see the natural bridge. The lodge was built in the 1950s but is very clean. It smells fresh. The rooms are a bit dated, but still very clean. Very decent rates and there's a restaurant on site. You will not have any cell reception, but it's nice to get away from that for...

My son and I had a two-night stay at this lodge. As soon as we opened the door to our room, we were hit with a very strong and unpleasant odor. I would describe it as the way a nursing home smells. It was really bad. The lobby area was nice enough and we enjoyed our meals at the restaurant,...

We went to the Hemlock Lodge and our room exceeded our expectations by a lot!! We were thinking just a simple no frills room which it was but they added extras that really made it nice. Our balcony looked out into the trees, which was awesome. We hit as many trails as we could that weekend and they keep them...
