Horrible. Room wasn't clean when arrive. I was gone the next day until 9pm and room wasn't cleaned. Manager James very rude. Front desk was rude also. Breakfast was another issue. frozen waffles instead of making them yourself.

Dear valued guest. First let me apologize for your experience. I take pride in my hotel, and when things do not go well for my guest I take it very personally. I have shared your comments with my staff. James is not a manager, he is a front desk associate who in all likelihood will be out of a job... More

It is a nice hotel on regular nights. The breakfast was disappointing. Due to a football game the price almost tripled for our 2nd night. It was definitely not worth the price we paid. The room was clean and adequate and is our usual place to stay for our professional convention.

Dear Valued guest. Thank you for your review. I apologize if you thought the rate was high, but we were the lowest priced hotel located as close to LSU as we are. I hope you continue to stay with us in the future. We value all comments since that is the only way one can improve. Thanks again. Lanny F. More

This hotel should truly be ranked 0 stars and nobody should ever visit our stuart here. I am a big man who carries a concealed firearm and even I didn't know if I was going to make it from my truck to my room alive. The property is filthy and crawling with thugs. Do not stay here under any circumstance.

Obviously the staff is not trained in customer service. Being told "it's not my problem" is in fact a problem. I have been traveling for work for 12 years, I have even stayed at this particular hotel before several years ago. This is the worst service I've had EVER.

Dear Joe. Thank you for your review. When we spoke earlier today, I thought I made it clear how unacceptable it is for anyone on my staff to give anything less than an impeccable guest experience. As I said earlier today, I am looking forward to your next stay to apologize to you personally. Thanks again. Lanny F More

Property is in need of repairs. Not a decent breakfast. Employees forgot to provide towels on two different days. Observed plumbing problems and toiler was designed for potty training because it is so low to the floor.

Dear valued guest. Thank you for your review. We are acutually upgrading many of our guest rooms. As to the height of the toilet, they are all standard height. The only rooms where they are higher are the ADA rooms. I'm not sure what plumbing problems you are referring to, but if you can call me at the hotel I... More

Greatly overpriced for the quality of the room and service and for the advertised price on website. we've been a Gold Card member for some time but this was a disappointment to for the price. Hope you are not taking advantage of flood victims in Baton Rouge area

Dear valued guest. Thank you for your review and question. First, let me say that our rates, like any hotel are based on availability. As to flood victims, as you may or may not know, during an SOE (state of emergency) a hotel is not able to raise rates. The rate must be no higher than the lowest rate we... More

Damp, smelly rooms with what looks like mold (black stains) on the ceilings and in the bathrooms. I was so disgusted by the room I was originally given, I immediately switched. The new room had less of the stains on the ceilings but it appeared that was due to a new coat of paint. The front desk staff tries to... More

First and foremost, the appearance of the rooms were way below my expectations! Upon arrival at 9pm on 10/7 I entered the room and the odor was overall disgusting, the carpet was stained in several areas, big black spots and brown spots. I had a room that had 2 full size beds, and the bed sheets were obviously NOT changed... More

Overall dirty impression. Bed linens do seem clean but the condition of the room is dated/cheaply remodeled. Noise level is awful. We can hear the microwave beep in the room above us, people shuffle when walking by, etc. The lights work 1/2 the time, a/c unit works but smells awful & sounds terrible when turned on. Little things like soap... More

I honestly can't understand anyone giving this place more than one star, I think we must have stayed in a different hotel, if you can even call it that.
