Gail and Trevor no longer run a B&B, but you can still get to stay in their rented room at the front of their property. I am popping their phone number here so that other lucky travellers can experience their hospitality, beautiful room and fabulous facilities. + 64 (0)7-866-3991 The room is huge with a fridge and kettle tucked away...

Went for a sandwich was nice and fair size but slightly over priced. The view where you eat is really amazing which over looks the beach and on a nice day really adds character to the place. It can be a little windy so make sure that you have a jacket just in case

This was our 7th visit to Gail and Trevor's fabulous B&B. They provide such a wonderful home stay experience that we just keep going back! We can lie in bed looking at the world famous beach, and listen to the ocean. A breakfast fit for a king is provided along with friendly, helpful advice about what's on in the local...

Trevor and Gail made every effort to make our stay so memorable. Great start to our New Zealand adventure. One of those places you will remember and talk about forever. Excellent base for exploring Coromandel.

Our 2 day stay at with Gail and Trevor was memorable. Check the photo to understand the location of this place - right above a beautiful white sand beach, views overlooking the South Pacific, and steps away from the hot spring that flows out of the sand. To give an idea of the hospitality there, on our arrival, this charming...

This is an above average B&B . Top location, beautiful views. Room delightful with top class toiletries. Our main reason for booking there was to experience making our own hot pool on the beach. Gail provided us with towels, a beach bag, shovel and directions on where to dig. Sadly the day we were there it was quite rough with...

There is nothing that the owners, Trevor and Gail will not do to make your stay totally comfortable. From the moment you arrive you feel like a friend, not a paying guest. The rooms are very comfortable – you have you own private entrance so you can come and go as you please. The location is clearly the best. You...

Highly recommend. Wonderful, friendly, comfortable B&B. They thought of everything – even provided shovels to take to the beach with instructions of where to dig to create our own spa. Delicious homemade breakfast. Great location. Can easily walk to Hot Water Beach.

Also very friendly and helpful hosts, very spacious room, had the downstairs one. Very clean, comfy bed, honesty bar. Short walk from beach, room has views over beach and out to sea. We will return here. Hosts helped organise activities - they went above and beyond! Thank you to Gail and Trevor!

My husband and I stayed at here as the first stop on our Honeymoon in November 2013, and it was fantastic. Trevor and Gail knew that we were on our honeymoon so had left us Champagne and Chocolates as a welcome gift in our room. The combination of this and the stunning view through the full glass doors in our...

“Get down to the Hot Water Beach for an amazing natural spa bath. In high season, get down there a couple of hours before low tide so that you can stake a claim - it'll get very busy. Spades can be hired from the local cafe. Or, go in winter, like we did :)”
