My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at the Bocage Plantation on July 12th and what a amazing experience we had! Roberto and Amy were extremely helpful and polite. They did an excellent job creating a personal experience for the two of us. They provided wine and bourbon for us to enjoy in the parlor. They were quick... More

We had such a nice time at Bocage! Called for a room at 8:30 pm on the night we wanted the room. Roberto answered and welcomed us when we arrived later same night! He stayed up waiting and carried our bags in for us. :) We ended up staying 2 nights. The house and our room were absolutely beautiful like a... More

Imagine being allowed to live and sleep in a room surrounded by antiques fit for a king, some of which are pictured in the finest antique books - this is what you will find at Bocage Plantation, along with much much more. We recently spent 3 days and 2 nights there while touring all of the area plantation homes. The... More

I just got back from a 3 days stay at the Bocage Plantation. We had a wonderful time. The place was beautifly furnished and my sisters and I felt very welcome by the staff - Roberto and Amy. We are looking forward to staying there again in the near future. I would definately recommend the Bocage Plantation.

From start to finish, Bocage Plantation did not disappoint. No detail was overlooked in filling this home with top of the line antiques and fixtures, and everything was done authentically and First Class. In the main parlour was a MAGNIFICENT hand-carved, velvet settee with full eagles across the top with eight matching chairs. It had come from an 1840's -... More

Returning from a day trip to New Orleans on our way back home to Baton Rouge, my fiance and I decided to stop by and visit Bocage Plantation. We had seen the signs recently and have been making our way through visiting the plantations around the area, and it was time to hit Bocage. Best impromptu decision we ever made!... More

My husband and I stayed two nights just before a New Orleans trip with his parents. We had the red room, which came with a claw foot tub and a steam shower. Since it was Monday and Tuesday, there were no one else there and we had the place almost to ourselves except the hosts Amy and Roberto, who are... More

My wife and I have spent a good time traveling and this may be the first time ever that we started thinking of returning again to an area simply bcause of the B&B. We actually felt we had made some friends by the time we had left. The owner (doctor) spent a great deal of time with us explaining some... More

After reading the reviews - the vast majority of which were stellar, I had rather high expectations and I am pleased and gratified that they were surpassed. This is a truly lovely home. Though it may appear at first glance like a gallery at the Smithsonian, Bocage is in no way a stodgy hands-off memorial to a dead era. It... More

My Husband and I stayed at Bocage to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. What a beautiful Place! Upon arrival Roberto, the inn keeper greeted us along with Augie (the other inn keeper of the four legged kind:) Roberto was very friendly and offered us a glass of wine which we welcomed after the drive.
